The positive overall result was achieved with fewer than half of the trades profitable: winning trades collectively outweighed losing trades and recorded costs. Risk and operating considerations
Backtests do not predict future returns. Losing trades and drawdowns occur, and spreads, costs, leverage and execution can materially change results. The daily-loss control is a strategy-level trigger, not a guaranteed or account-wide loss ceiling, and does not capture every cost. Restarting can reset in-memory controls; unsuccessful risk-reduction actions require monitoring and are not automatically retried once the loss trigger is latched.
