GOLD REAPER — Multi-Symbol Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5

OVERVIEW
--------
Gold Reaper is a rule-based Expert Advisor built around three things: strict,
configurable risk management; a transparent, adjustable entry-confirmation
engine; and a live on-chart dashboard that shows exactly what the EA is
doing and why, in real time. It works on any symbol and timeframe, on both
netting and hedging accounts, and every behavior described below is exposed
as an Input parameter — nothing is hard-coded.
This page describes every function the EA offers, grouped the same way as
the Inputs tab.

1. POSITION SIZING & SYMBOL LIMITS
------------------------------------------------------------------
- Automatic lot sizing: the lot size scales with account equity using a
configurable "money per 0.01 lot" step, or a fixed Manual Lot size can be
used instead.
- Optional multi-symbol mode: the EA can either trade only the chart symbol
it is attached to, or scan every symbol currently in Market Watch.
- Independent limits per symbol: maximum simultaneous buy positions, maximum
simultaneous sell positions, and maximum buy/sell trades opened per day.
- Maximum number of symbols allowed to be traded at the same time.
- Maximum spread filter: entries are skipped whenever the live spread
exceeds the configured limit, in points.
- Minimum distance (in points) enforced between new entries.

2. RISK & MARGIN SAFETY
------------------------------------------------------------------
- Netting-safe pyramiding guard: on a netting account, sending a second
order in the same direction as an existing position does not open a new
trade — it adds volume to the existing net position instead. Gold Reaper
detects this and blocks it by default (an "Allow Pyramiding" switch is
available for anyone who wants that behavior intentionally).
- Pre-trade margin check: before every order, the EA calculates the exact
margin the trade would require and verifies that a configurable safety
buffer of free margin remains afterward. Orders that would leave the
account under-margined are skipped and logged instead of being sent and
rejected by the broker.
- Monthly profit lock: once a configured monthly percentage gain is reached,
the EA automatically stops opening new positions until the next month.
- Reverse-position and one-direction-only (FIFO-style) modes for accounts
or strategies that require them.

3. TAKE PROFIT, STOP LOSS & TRAILING STOP
------------------------------------------------------------------
- Take Profit and Stop Loss can each be set in whichever unit fits your
plan: percent of account equity, a fixed amount in account currency, or
raw price points.
- Two independent trailing-stop engines:
- Point-based trailing, with separate "start" and "step" distances.
- Percent-of-equity trailing, which locks in a floating gain once a
target percentage is reached.
- Broker stop-distance awareness: every stop modification is checked
against the symbol's minimum stop distance (Stops Level) AND against the
Freeze Level around the position's current SL/TP before being sent, which
avoids invalid-stop rejections instead of retrying blindly.
- Retry cooldown: if a close or modify request is rejected (for example
because the market is temporarily closed), the EA waits before trying
that position again instead of resending the same request on every tick.
- Optional combined Take Profit / Stop Loss percentages across all open
positions together, and optional inclusion of swap and commission in
profit/loss calculations.

4. PRECISION ENTRY ENGINE (optional, fully configurable)
------------------------------------------------------------------
On every new candle of the selected entry timeframe, Gold Reaper can score
the setup using up to five independent, individually toggleable filters:
- Trend filter: a fast/slow moving-average crossover sets the candidate
trade direction.
- ADX filter: blocks entries when trend strength is below a configurable
threshold (avoids flat, choppy conditions).
- RSI filter: a momentum confirmer that avoids buying or selling into an
already-stretched market.
- ATR volatility filter: requires the triggering candle's body to be a
meaningful fraction of recent volatility.
- Higher-timeframe confirmation: optionally requires a larger timeframe
to agree with the trade direction.
Gate filters (ADX, ATR, trading session) must pass before any entry is
considered. Confirming filters (RSI, higher timeframe) add to a confluence
score; the EA enters once a configurable minimum score is reached, or only
when every enabled filter agrees, if strict mode is selected. Every filter
can be disabled independently, and every threshold is an adjustable Input.

5. NEWS FILTER & TRADING SCHEDULE
------------------------------------------------------------------
- Uses MetaTrader 5's built-in Economic Calendar — no external data feed or
subscription required.
- Filter by event importance (low / medium / high) independently.
- Separate, configurable time buffers before and after each event, with a
wider buffer available specifically for high-impact events.
- A configurable list of currencies to monitor, so the filter only reacts to
news relevant to the symbols you trade.
- Choice of behavior when a monitored news event is near: close open
positions preventively, or move their stop loss to breakeven.
- Independent trading-day (day-of-week) and trading-hours restrictions.

6. LIVE ON-CHART DASHBOARD
------------------------------------------------------------------
- Shows account equity and floating profit, the active symbol and
timeframe, live spread, and open position count at a glance.
- Trade statistics computed automatically: total entries, wins, losses and
win rate — recalculated in real time as positions close, and reloaded
from account history on start-up so the count survives a terminal
restart.
- Signal status: current trend direction, ADX and RSI readings, so you can
see at a glance why the engine is or isn't taking a trade.
- Protection indicators: news filter status, whether trading is currently
allowed by the day/time settings, and monthly profit-lock status.
- Live log feed built into the panel itself: the most recent events (entries,
exits, trailing adjustments, filter blocks) stream on the chart in real
time, in addition to the full text log in the Experts tab and a CSV file
saved to disk for later review.
- Two color themes are included: "Minimal Glass" (blue-grey, understated)
and "Neon Trader" (dark, high-contrast, terminal style).

7. LOGGING
------------------------------------------------------------------
- Every filter decision, order, modification, rejection and close reason is
logged with a timestamp, both to the Experts tab and to a CSV file, making
it straightforward to audit exactly why a trade was or wasn't taken.

HOW TO USE IT
------------------------------------------------------------------
Attach the EA to any chart, review the Inputs tab (grouped into General
Settings, News Filter Settings, Advanced Precision Filters, and Risk /
Margin Safety), and adjust the thresholds to the instrument and timeframe
you intend to trade. Default values are a reasonable starting point, not a
fixed strategy — testing in the Strategy Tester on your target symbol and
timeframe before live use is recommended.
As with any automated trading tool, past or simulated performance does not
guarantee future results, and trading involves risk of loss.
