BTC Tsunami — Ride the Reversal. A disciplined, low-maintenance EA built exclusively for BTCUSD on the M15 timeframe. Three inputs.

BTC Tsunami is a focused Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 4 that trades BTCUSD on M15 using a disciplined, risk-aware mean-reversion approach. It does not chase every move — it waits for specific market conditions and manages every position with a clear, automated exit plan.
What you get
- Simple by design — just 3 inputs. Risk Percent (auto-sized off your live equity, with an automatic fallback to the broker's minimum lot if your account is too small), Max Daily Loss % (set to 0 to disable), and Magic Number (run multiple instances without conflicts).

- A built-in daily loss circuit breaker. When your daily limit is hit, BTC Tsunami closes any open position and stands aside until the next session.

How it was tested
The logic was validated with a proper walk-forward process: parameters were tuned on an in-sample period, then verified on a separate out-of-sample period the model had never seen, plus a 3-fold rolling validation across independent time windows — every fold came back positive. BTC Tsunami is designed and optimized for one chart and one chart only: BTCUSD, M15 timeframe. It does not try to be a universal multi-symbol robot — it was built, tuned, and validated specifically for the way Bitcoin trades on 15-minute bars, and it should be run there for consistent results.
Built for simplicity
No curve-fitted parameter jungle. No 40 inputs to guess at. BTC Tsunami runs on just three settings:
- Risk Percent — how much of your equity you risk per trade. The EA sizes every position automatically from your live account balance, and falls back gracefully to the broker's minimum lot size if your account is too small for the selected risk — so it never blocks you out, it just tells you when it's at the floor.
- Max Daily Loss % — a hard circuit breaker. Set a daily loss limit and the EA will close any open position and stop trading for the rest of the day the moment that limit is hit. Set it to 0 to disable it if you prefer to manage risk manually.
- Magic Number — lets you run multiple instances side by side without conflicts.
That's it. Attach it to BTCUSD M15, set your risk, and you're done.
Built-in live dashboard
A clean on-chart panel keeps you informed at a glance: current status (armed / in trade / halted), live equity, today's P/L against your daily cap, open position details, and running session stats — no digging through the terminal log to know what your EA is doing.
Validated the right way
Before being published, BTC Tsunami's logic was tested with a proper walk-forward process: parameters were tuned on an in-sample period and then verified on unseen out-of-sample data the model had never touched, in addition to a multi-fold rolling validation across separate time windows. This is forward-looking testing, not a single backtest cherry-picked to look good — the goal was a strategy that holds up out of sample, not one that only shines in hindsight.
Risk-aware by design
BTC Tsunami trades one position at a time and is built around capital preservation as much as opportunity — the daily loss cap gives you a hard backstop on top of the strategy's own risk controls.
As with any trading system, past performance and backtest results are not a guarantee of future returns. Always test on a demo account before going live, and only risk capital you can afford to lose.
