OVERVIEW

AMELIA GOLD v6.0 is a confluence-based Expert Advisor built primarily for XAUUSD (Gold). The EA is designed to avoid random entries and candle chasing. It waits for price to interact with higher-probability reaction zones and only executes when multiple confirmations align (structure + location + pattern + candle timing). The system supports both market entries and zone-based limit entries, with broker-safe checks before sending or modifying orders.

WHAT THIS EA IS (AND IS NOT)

- Built for structured trading on Gold, using confirmation and timing logic.

- Not a high-frequency scalper. It focuses on quality setups rather than constant trades.

- Not a guarantee of profit. It is a rules-based system that depends on market conditions and broker execution.

DECISION FLOW (HOW A TRADE IS CREATED)

1) Market State and Context

   - Identify whether the market is trending, ranging, or shifting (BOS / CHoCH).

   - Detect liquidity behavior (sweeps of recent highs/lows) and key reaction zones.

   - Evaluate volatility conditions to avoid unsuitable environments (spread/stop levels/ATR context if enabled).

2) Location / Zone Qualification

   - Confirm price location using premium/discount logic and Fibonacci retracement clusters.

   - Strongest zones occur when multiple levels overlap (fib + structure + pattern area).

3) Pattern Confluence

   - Harmonic completion zones (PRZ) can increase confluence when aligned with zones.

   - Candlestick confirmation is used as the final timing trigger at the zone.

4) Execution Selection

   - Market entry when confirmation is strong and timing is immediate.

   - Limit entry when the best price is expected deeper into the zone (better average entry).

   - Hybrid mode can blend both (market if momentum confirms, otherwise limit at the zone).

CORE STRATEGY MODULES (IMPORTANT)

1) Smart Money Concepts (SMC) / Structure Engine

- BOS (Break of Structure) and CHoCH (Change of Character) logic

- Liquidity zones and sweeps (stop-hunt style behavior around swing highs/lows)

- Order Blocks (bullish/bearish) used as potential institutional reaction zones

- Imbalance / Fair Value Gap (FVG) behavior for value re-entry and zone confirmation

Goal: trade with structure, not against it, and focus on reactions from meaningful zones.

2) Fibonacci + Location Logic

- Premium / Discount positioning to avoid buying at premium or selling at discount

- Retracement cluster validation: 38.2 / 50 / 61.8 / 78.6

- Tolerance rules for level proximity (avoid weak, far-from-level entries)

- Zone overlap logic: fib levels are highest value when they align with structure zones (OB/FVG) and/or pattern completion.

3) Harmonic Pattern Engine (quality scored)

- Detects and grades harmonic formations and their completion areas (PRZ).

- Includes: Gartley, Bat, Butterfly, Crab, Shark, Cypher, ABCD, Three-Drives.

- Harmonics are used as confluence (not blind triggers). Best performance is expected when PRZ overlaps with fib clusters and structure zones.

4) Candlestick Confirmation Engine (25+ patterns)

Candlestick logic is used for timing at zones, not random pattern trading. The engine recognizes 25+ reversal and continuation formations (context filtered), including:

- Engulfing (bullish/bearish)

- Pin Bar

- Hammer / Inverted Hammer

- Shooting Star / Hanging Man

- Doji types: Dragonfly Doji, Gravestone Doji, Long-legged Doji

- Harami (bullish/bearish)

- Tweezer Top / Tweezer Bottom

- Morning Star / Evening Star

- Piercing Line / Dark Cloud Cover

- Marubozu

- Kicker

- Three White Soldiers / Three Black Crows

- Three Inside Up / Three Inside Down

- Plus additional multi-candle continuation and reversal formations.

These patterns are applied as the final confirmation layer when price is already at a qualified zone.

OPTIONAL FILTERS (DEPENDING ON INPUTS)

- Trend strength / momentum confirmation (adaptive behavior)

- Volatility context (ATR) to avoid dead sessions or unstable spikes

- VWAP proximity (value vs extended price) if enabled

- Optional DXY (USD Index) correlation filter if your broker provides a DXY/USDX symbol

  (the EA will safely ignore this module if no DXY symbol exists)

EXECUTION MODES

- Market entries (instant execution when all conditions confirm)

- Limit entries (zone-based pending limits for better pricing)

- Hybrid mode (market when momentum confirms, limits around zone/pattern completion)

Broker-safe protections are applied to help avoid invalid price / invalid stops / stop-level violations.

RISK MANAGEMENT AND SAFETY

- Fixed lot or Percent-Risk sizing (via inputs)

- Max open trades control and minimum bars-between-trades control

- Spread protection and stop-level protection

- Order validation checks before placing or modifying orders (broker-safe behavior)

- Optional safety gates (if enabled) to control exposure during adverse conditions

TRADE MANAGEMENT (DESIGNED FOR GOLD VOLATILITY)

Gold can spike, sweep liquidity, then continue. The management framework is designed to handle this behavior:

- Protective SL/TP logic (as configured)

- Optional breakeven behavior with offset (if enabled)

- Optional time-based tightening logic (if enabled)

- Optional trailing stop and partial close modules (if enabled)

The management style is intended to reduce risk after confirmation while allowing enough room for normal Gold volatility.
