Trade Visualizer

While developing an MT4 EA designed to manage multiple EAs and manual trades simultaneously, I encountered a fundamental limitation in MetaTrader 4's trade visualization, the platform offers no built-in way to view trade history directly on the chart. Every time I needed to verify if my management EA was working correctly, I found myself manually dragging individual trades from the Account History tab onto the chart, a tedious and inefficient process that made debugging and monitoring nearly impossible. This frustrating experience sparked the idea: why not create an intelligent indicator that automatically handles this visualization, transforming how traders interact with their trade history on MT4?

The Trade Visualizer was born from this need, bringing MT5-style trade visualization to MT4 by automatically plotting all open and closed trades directly on the chart with clean, professional-looking graphical elements. Each trade appears with entry and exit arrows connected by color-coded lines, accompanied by comprehensive tooltips showing position ID, prices, volume, profit/loss in dollars, pip movement, ROI percentage, and magic number identification, essential information for anyone developing or using trade management systems. The indicator intelligently displays Stop Loss and Take Profit levels with horizontal lines.

How to use it ?

Simply attach the indicator to any chart and instantly view your full trade history for that symbol. You can use the date filters to focus on specific periods all without manually dragging individual trades onto the chart. If some trades do not appear, open the Terminal → Account History and select All History.

When converting EAs from MT5 to MT4, I often encounter platform limitations especially this one which requires special attention. That’s what inspired this idea. Once again, I truly appreciate your support for our project🙏
