AlgoTrade Spread and Slippage Monitor displays the chart symbol spread and fill slippage on the chart. It runs on any chart and reads account data only.
What it shows
- Current spread in points, along with the average and widest spread since the indicator started, updated on every new tick.
- Today's average and widest spread based on 1-minute bars.
- Hourly spread over the last 7 days (1 to 60 days), showing the widest hour, narrowest hour, and usual spread for the current hour.
- Slippage in points: the distance between each fill price and the requested order price for market orders, stop orders, stop losses, limit orders, and take profits.
- The share of fills at a worse, the same, or a better price, and the estimated money gained or lost by slippage.
- Data for the chart symbol or all symbols over the last 7 days, the last 30 days, or all history, accessible with one click.
- An optional alert when the spread exceeds a set number of points, with an optional push notification.
How to use
- Attach the indicator to any chart. It can run alongside an Expert Advisor on the same chart.
- Use the tabs at the top of the panel. Click "Fold" to collapse it into a single line on the chart, or "Open" to display the full panel.

- This indicator reads account data only and does not open, modify, or close trades.
- A point is the symbol's smallest price step. The hourly and today's figures use the spread stored by the broker with each 1-minute bar, which is often the lowest spread of that minute.
- Fills without a price asked in the order, such as some market orders on market execution accounts, are not counted. Stop outs and rollover deals are not counted.
- The money amount is an estimate based on today's point value.
