🔒 Protect Your Account from Manual Trading Mistakes

Drawdown Protection – Manual Trading Blocker is an Expert Advisor designed exclusively for MetaTrader 5 to strictly control daily drawdown caused by manual trading.

Once the predefined daily maximum drawdown is reached, this EA automatically blocks all new manual trades, helping traders avoid emotional decisions and revenge trading.

⚙️ How It Works

  • The EA continuously monitors the account equity

  • It tracks the highest equity reached during the current trading day

  • When the daily Max Drawdown (%) is exceeded:

    • ❌ Any new manual trade is closed instantly

    • ⛔ Manual trading is blocked until the next trading day

  • Automated trades (Magic Number ≠ 0) are not affected

📌 Important Notice
When a manual trade is blocked, it is closed immediately after being opened, which means:

  • a loss due to spread

  • possible broker commissions

These costs are normal and unavoidable and are part of the protection mechanism.

📅 Automatic Daily Reset

  • The drawdown calculation is reset automatically every new trading day (server time)

  • Manual trading is re-enabled automatically on the next day
