Stop switching to the calendar tab every few minutes. TlgNews monitors the economic calendar for you and sends a clear summary straight to your Telegram before the event happens, so you never miss what's coming while you stay focused on your charts.

How it works

You choose which events matter to you (High, Medium, or Low importance) and how many seconds in advance you want to be notified. When an event matching your filter is about to be released, you receive a message in your Telegram chat with the event name, its importance, the forecast, the previous value, and a quick read on the expected impact.

You don't need to keep a calendar tab open, and you don't need to remember release times. The alert reaches you wherever you are.

Choose exactly what you want to follow

Not every trader wants news from every country. TlgNews lets you narrow the feed down to what actually matters for your trading:

  • No filter, receive all events from all countries that match your importance filter
  • Current symbol only, TlgNews identifies which countries are relevant to the chart where it is attached, so an EURUSD chart will only alert you about EUR and USD events
  • Custom country list, enter the country codes you want to follow (for example, US, GB, JP) separated by commas, and only those events will appear

What you receive in each alert

  • Event name and scheduled time
  • Importance level at a glance
  • Forecast and previous value side by side
  • A directional reading (bullish, bearish, or neutral) of the event's likely impact on the symbol where the bot is running.

How to get started

  1. Create a Telegram bot by opening a chat with BotFather in Telegram, sending /newbot, and copying the token it provides.
  2. Get your chat ID by sending any message to a chat ID helper bot in Telegram, or use the ID of your group or channel if you want the alerts to be posted there.
  3. Attach TlgNews to any chart, enter your bot token and chat ID in the inputs, choose your alert window, importance filter, and how you want to narrow down the events you follow.
  4. That's it. TlgNews will keep monitoring the calendar and notify you before each event that matches your filters.

Setup takes just a couple of minutes and only needs to be done once.

  • MetaTrader 5, build 5430 or higher
  • A Telegram account (free) to create your bot
