Spread Monitor Best Hours MT5
- Indicatori
- Versione: 1.0
Trade when the spread is low. Spread Monitor shows the spread now in plain words (normal, a bit high, HIGH), the usual spread of your broker, and the best and worst hours of the day, measured on your own broker over the last 20 days.
The spread is a cost on every trade: on EURUSD one extra pip costs 10 USD per lot. Around the daily rollover and in quiet hours it can jump many times, and stops get hit by the spread alone. Now you can see when your broker is cheap.
WHAT YOU SEE
- Spread now with a word: normal, a bit high or HIGH. On weekends and holidays: market closed.
- Usual spread of this symbol at your broker, and the max of today.
- Best hours (green): when the spread is at its lowest.
- Avoid (red): hours where the spread is 2x the usual or more, for example 23h-1h.
- 24 small bars: usual spread for each server hour, the current hour in white. Move the mouse over a bar to see the usual and max spread of that hour.
HONEST NUMBERS
- Measured from the M1 history of your broker (last N days, default 20).
- The usual spread is the typical value (median), so a few crazy minutes do not change the picture.
- Pips for forex symbols, points for gold, indices and crypto.
ALERTS
- Optional alert when the spread goes above your limit, with push notification to your phone. Max once every 10 minutes.
NOTES
- Read only: the indicator never trades.
- Server time is the time of your broker (the time in Market Watch).
