Bar Close Alert MT5

Get alerts only when the candle closes. Bar Close Alert tells you when a candle closed across your line, when a big candle closed, or when the previous high or low was broken. No more false alerts from a wick that touches the line and comes back.

Normal price alerts ring as soon as the price touches a level, even if the candle closes back on the other side a few seconds later. Most traders wait for the candle close to confirm a breakout. This indicator does the waiting for you.

FOUR ALERTS (turn on what you need)

  • Candle closed across a line: every horizontal and trend line you draw on the chart, or only the lines with "alert" in the name or description. Trend lines with "Ray right" are followed into the future.
  • Big candle: the body is at least X times the average body of the last N candles (default 3x the last 50).
  • Breakout of the previous candle: closed above the previous high or below the previous low.
  • Every candle close: a simple reminder at each close.

ON THE CHART

  • An arrow on each signal: gold for a line, green or red for a big candle, blue for a breakout. Move the mouse over it to read the reason.
  • Arrows also on the last 50 candles (you can change it), so you see how it works at once. No alerts for old candles.
  • Draw, move or delete a line: the arrows update by themselves.
  • A small panel: countdown to the candle close, what it is watching, and the last alert.

ALERTS

  • Popup, sound (choose the sound file) and push notification to your phone.
  • Works on every symbol and every timeframe. Use one chart per timeframe you want to watch.

INSTALLATION

  1. Drag Bar Close Alert MT5 onto the chart.
  2. Choose the alerts in the Inputs tab and click OK.
  3. Draw a horizontal line or a trend line where you want to be alerted.

NOTES

  • A line alert needs the previous candle to close on one side and the new candle to close on the other side.
  • The indicator never trades. MetaTrader 5 must be running to receive alerts.
