Max Trades Per Day MT5
- Utilità
- Versione: 1.0
Choose how many trades you allow yourself each day. When the limit is reached, any new trade is closed right away and pending orders are deleted until the next day. Free, one chart, works with manual trades and with any Expert Advisor.
Most traders know their best trades come early, and the worst ones come after: boredom trades, revenge trades, "just one more". Max Trades Per Day turns your plan into a hard rule. If your plan says 3 trades, the EA makes sure it stays 3.
HOW IT WORKS
- You attach the EA to any one chart and set your maximum number of trades per day (for example 3).
- Every new position opened today is counted, on all symbols. You can count all trades, only manual trades, or only the trades of one EA (magic number).
- When one trade is left, you get one alert.
- When the limit is reached, the account is LOCKED. Trades you already opened stay open. Any new trade (manual, from the mobile app or from an EA) is closed right away, and pending orders are deleted.
- Optional: lock the day after a number of losing trades (for example 2), even if the trade limit is not reached yet.
- At the reset time (server time, 00:00 by default) a new day starts and the counter goes back to 0.
FEATURES
- Max trades per day (0 = off)
- Max losing trades per day (optional, 0 = off). Swap and commission are included in the result of each trade
- Which trades count: all trades, manual trades only, or one EA by magic number
- Close trades opened over the limit and delete pending orders while locked (each can be turned off)
- Alert when one trade is left, pop-up alert and optional push notification to the MetaTrader 5 mobile app
- Each alert is shown once per day, also after a restart, so you are not flooded with pop-ups
- On-chart panel in any chart corner
- Everything is counted from the account history, so the counter survives a terminal restart and follows your new settings if you change them
THE PANEL ON THE CHART
- Status: ACTIVE - you can still trade. "Trades left" shows how many trades you have today.
- Status: LOCKED - a limit was reached today. "Reason" shows if it was the trade limit or the losing-trade limit.
- Trades today - trades used / your limit.
- Losing trades - closed trades of today with a negative result.
- Counts - which trades are counted (all trades, manual trades or one magic number), and the reset time.
WHO IT IS FOR
- Manual traders who overtrade or revenge trade after a loss
- Prop firm traders who want a strict daily routine
- Traders who want to limit how often an EA can trade per day
SETUP
- Drag Max Trades Per Day MT5 onto any one chart (any symbol, any timeframe).
- In the Common tab, tick "Allow Algo Trading". Make sure the Algo Trading button on the toolbar is on, otherwise the EA cannot close trades over the limit.
- In the Inputs tab, set your limit and press OK. The panel appears on the chart.
INPUTS
- Max trades per day: number of new positions allowed per day (0 = off)
- Max losing trades per day: lock the day after this number of losing trades (0 = off)
- Count trades: -1 = all trades, 0 = manual trades only, any other value = only the EA with this magic number
- Close trades opened over the limit
- Delete pending orders while locked
- New trading day starts at: server time, HH:MM (00:00 by default)
- Alert when one trade is left / Pop-up alert / Push notification to the MT5 mobile app
- Show panel on chart / Panel corner / Panel X and Y offset
NOTES
- One chart is enough for the whole account. Attach it only once.
- The EA works only while MetaTrader 5 is running and connected. For full protection, run it on a VPS.
- A trade closed because it was over the limit does not count as a losing trade.
- Push notifications need your MetaQuotes ID in Tools > Options > Notifications.
- The EA does not open trades. It only closes trades over the limit and deletes pending orders while locked.
- Also free from the same author: Daily Loss Limit Lock MT5, a daily loss limit for the whole account.
