Storm Pulse XAU v1.0 is a professional Expert Advisor (EA) developed specifically for the XAUUSD (Gold) pair, optimized for the M5 timeframe. It combines high-probability support/resistance zone detection with a Stochastic Pulse-based reversal engine, geared towards short- to medium-term trading with strict risk management, ideal for both low-capital personal accounts and prop firms.
Main Strategy
The system operates with two main engines (activated by default) and optional legacy patterns:
Gold Zones (Dynamic Support/Resistance): Identifies price pivots in a configurable lookback (100 bars by default), groups levels with pip tolerance, and requires a minimum number of touches. Generates signals for:
Bounces off support (buy) or resistance (sell).
Confirmed breakouts with pip filtering. Each zone is visually represented (rectangles + lines + labels) with different colors depending on support/resistance and strength (number of touches).
Storm Pulse – Stochastic Reversal uses the Stochastic oscillator (configurable K/D/Slowing parameters). It detects %K/%D crossovers exclusively in oversold (<20) territory for buys or overbought (>80) territory for sells. It displays arrows and labels “PULSE BUY / PULSE SELL” on the chart and in the indicator subwindow.
Legacy patterns (disabled by default): Engulfing, Pin Bar, and Inside Bar Break. These can be activated individually if desired.
StormBoost mode (Turbo Aggressive) allows you to analyze the last N bars and apply a multiplier lot size for more controlled aggressiveness.
Risk Management and Capital Protection
Designed with a focus on consistency and account survival, especially relevant for proprietary trading firms:
Sizing modes: fixed lot, % risk per trade, or dynamic on equity.
Daily loss limit (default 10% of the opening balance). Maximum open positions, total volume, and margin usage.
Fixed Stop Loss and Take Profit in points, with a minimum risk/reward ratio (Min RR).
Automatic Trailing Stop and Break-Even.
Filters for maximum spread, trading hours (optional), and broker stop validation. Lot calculation that respects volume step, min/max lot, and free margin.
With an initial capital of $300 USD, the EA can trade conservatively (low risk percentage + small lot size). For funding accounts/prop firms starting at $5,000 USD, it is recommended to adjust the risk per trade to 0.5–1% and strictly adhere to the Daily Loss Limit to comply with typical daily and maximum drawdown rules.

Customizable candlestick and background colors. In Strategy Tester (non-visual mode), candlestick drawing is automatically disabled to maximize backtesting speed.
