What is this EA?
Gold Smart Buy EA is a fully automated expert advisor designed for gold (XAUUSD) and forex pairs. It uses a smart buy-only grid system with candle confirmation filters to avoid bad entries, and a unique hedge-at-TP mechanism to lock and secure profits.
How It Works
1. First Entry The EA opens the first BUY when market conditions are valid — spread, margin, trading hours, and server sync all confirmed.
2. Grid with Candle Filter When price drops below the last buy by the configured step distance, the EA waits for the last M5 candle to be bullish (Close > Open) before adding the next layer. This filter prevents adding to losses during strong downtrends.
3. Dynamic Take Profit TP target is calculated automatically based on total open lot size: TP = (Total Lot / 0.01) x $1 per lot
4. Hedge-at-TP Exit
- 1 open buy: Closes directly at TP — no hedge needed
- 2+ open buys: Opens a SELL hedge equal to total buy lot → waits 5 minutes → closes ALL positions together
