Che cos'è Lizard?

Lizard è un Expert Advisor completamente automatico per XAUUSD (oro) su MetaTrader 5. Utilizza un sistema di breakout di swing a più strategie: l'Expert Advisor individua i livelli strutturali chiave sul grafico e colloca ordini stop pendenti in punti di ingresso calcolati.

Niente martingala, niente griglia, nessuna mediazione in perdita. Ogni operazione viene aperta con stop loss e take profit definiti e viene poi gestita da un sistema di uscita a più livelli, ininterrottamente e senza intervento manuale.

Come funziona

Lizard analizza continuamente il grafico di XAUUSD sul timeframe orario alla ricerca di massimi e minimi di swing significativi. Non appena viene individuata una struttura valida, viene collocato un ordine buy stop o sell stop a una distanza calibrata dal livello. L'ordine si attiva solo con un breakout effettivo; il semplice contatto del prezzo non basta. In questo modo i movimenti deboli vengono esclusi e l'ingresso avviene solo con momentum confermato.

Sei strategie indipendenti operano contemporaneamente sul timeframe orario, ciascuna con il proprio stop loss e take profit, il proprio sistema di trailing, il proprio Magic Number e la propria ponderazione del rischio.

Funzioni

Le sei strategie coprono condizioni di mercato diverse, dai breakout intraday brevi alle configurazioni di swing su più giorni. La loro attivazione dipende dal saldo del conto: fino a 1000 USD è attiva la zona A, da 1001 USD sono attive la zona A e la zona B.

Un filtro orario blocca, per ogni strategia separatamente, le ore di negoziazione che nell'analisi storica in tempo universale presentano un profit factor inferiore a 1.0.

Il sistema di uscita lavora su più livelli. Il break even sposta lo stop loss al prezzo di ingresso non appena viene raggiunta una soglia di profitto definita. Il trailing stop loss segue il prezzo e protegge i guadagni, mentre il trailing take profit adegua l'obiettivo in modo dinamico. Un trailing a passi consente inoltre un avanzamento graduale dello stop loss. Lo stop loss virtuale chiude le posizioni a livello software, indipendentemente dal broker.

Un filtro notizie sospende l'operatività prima e dopo la pubblicazione dei dati sull'occupazione statunitense. Prima della finestra giornaliera di chiusura del mercato, gli ordini pendenti aperti vengono rimossi automaticamente. Per le regole delle challenge delle prop firm è disponibile un parametro di input per la perdita giornaliera massima.

Regole di trading

Lizard non usa né martingala né griglia e non media le posizioni in perdita. Ogni posizione viene aperta con stop loss. Trailing stop, break even, filtro notizie e limite di perdita giornaliera fanno parte del sistema.

Been using it for 2 months and satisfied with the results. Here's my journey: - Bought and starting to run live at worst possible timing (mid July, in the middle of summer), lost around 60usd - Lower the risks and wait for when the market gets back to normal volatility - Go back to my own settings and got +75% in August Outside of that, the community on Discord is extremely helpful. People cheer, discuss, help new members. The group also has a dedicated channel for reviewing other EAs by numbers, statistics, math, science and common sense. I must thank Zolia a lot for this because he actually spent time and effort growing the community. Lastly, a word to those haters, if you actually spend time researching, you would know that Summer, Christmas and New Year are the times when the volatility is the lowest and that Breakout EAs will all suffer from it no matter what. If you actually have the money to buy an EA and put money for it to trade, why not spend 5 more minutes researching?

Realistic, Solid EA with Proper Risk Control It’s easy to feel anxious when seeing 1–2 days of drawdowns, but that’s simply part of how trading works. In financial markets, no strategy can offer 100% win rates—for zero risk, traditional banking is usually the only option. Sometimes expectations get skewed when traders use aggressive lot sizes hoping for fast gains, making small daily losses feel bigger than they actually are. When lot sizes are scaled properly, these temporary dips are easily manageable. Losses are completely normal and part of the process; what really matters is risk management. Lizard relies on strict Stop Loss (SL) protection, so short-term drawdowns will naturally occur—just as shown in honest backtest data. Any sound EA built on long-term survival will have losing days. What truly counts is the long-term equity curve, and overall, Lizard delivers very solid and consistent profit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable, well-managed trading system!

And it’s funny how you’re only complaining about the loss, but not mentioning the last huuuuuge win. Just look at my High Risk signal — today’s loss was only a fraction of the previous win. So either you heavily manipulated the EA/settings, or you’re lying left and right. The backtests are not edited. The only thing you can change is the Fakeout settings. And maybe you’re also aware that the backtest runs on YOUR broker’s data and according to YOUR tester settings. If you test with 1ms latency, you’ll never get realistic results. But for that, you actually need to know how to run proper backtests in the first place.

Lost big money again on v1.86 because the news filter didn't work under default settings. The dev pushed v1.87 overnight to fix this setup issue, but offered ZERO apology for my financial loss and only begged me to change my bad review. Very unprofessional communication and risk management. Use with extreme caution.

The developer claimed v1.86 was fine and blamed my settings. But multiple users lost 25%+ of their accounts under DEFAULT settings during CPI news due to the exact same news filter bug. The developer even called victims 'liars' before secretly pushing v1.87 with the patch note: 'Fixed news calendar filter'. Extremely deceptive, irresponsible, and dangerous developer. Avoid at all costs.

We are actively working with the community on issues like these, and if you had actually taken a closer look at the EA, you would have found the link as well. I also apologize there every time bugs or other issues occur, and I have completely normal conversations with users. It is always funny to see that reviews like this usually come from users who do not want to read the manual or join any community, and then complain that I supposedly do nothing. I am not your psychologist for your mental problems, and if you do not want me to fix bugs — which I often only discover thanks to feedback from the community — then you should not use my EA. I want to fix bugs and improve the EA instead of being like other developers who leave obvious problems unfixed for months.

Excellent Breakout EA for those that really know how to use it! I have good settings and its profitable. Please test the setup and use Dynamic low which closes at BE when we have fake breakouts. This after all is EA and not cash machine and when it does have good trades it nails it. Profits to follow in comments!
