Most crossover indicators print an arrow and leave the rest to you. Where's the stop? When is the trade over? You end up running half the system in your head, and two people looking at the same arrow end up with two different results.
T3 SSL Trend Signals runs the whole plan on the chart. Two T3 moving averages give the entry, an SSL channel and an ADX filter decide whether that entry is allowed, and every trade carries a stop, a target and an exit rule you can see.
Where the usual T3 and SSL tools drift

The third row is the one worth a second look. With a fixed threshold of 25, a trend waking up at ADX 15 gets blocked and a trend dying at ADX 35 gets through. Here the question is only whether ADX is above where it has been lately. On the EURUSD H1 screenshot the panel reads PASS at 17.4 against an average of 14.8. A fixed 25 would have thrown that trade away.
What it draws
SSL channel. Two thick lines, green and red, from a 140-period average of the highs and one of the lows. Direction changes only when a bar closes outside the channel. A close back inside changes nothing, so the direction holds through pullbacks. When it does flip, the two lines swap colours in a single bar, which is why you see short vertical steps.
T3 lines. A thin blue fast T3 and a thin red slow T3. Their cross is the trigger, and nothing more than the trigger.
LONG and SHORT arrows. Green arrow with LONG under the bar, red arrow with SHORT above it. They print only when the cross, the SSL direction and the ADX filter all agree.
Stop and target lines. Dotted red and green lines start at the entry bar with the price written on them and stop at the exit bar. Each trade gets its own pair, so one trade's levels are never joined to the next one's.
Exit marks. A cross at the exit price with a small label: green and TP for the target, red and SL for the stop, grey and Exit for an early exit.
Status panel. SSL direction, which T3 is on top, whether ADX passes with both numbers shown, and the open position with its stop and target.
It doesn't plot ADX on the price chart, doesn't colour candles, and doesn't trail the stop. The stop you see at entry is the stop until the trade ends.
Alerts
LONG, SHORT and every exit, at most once per bar, and by default only after the bar closes. MT5 delivers as a terminal alert, email, MetaTrader mobile push, Telegram, or Telegram with a chart screenshot. MT4 has the terminal alert, push and email.

The EURUSD trade in the screenshots shows how exits actually work. The target sits 20 ATRs away, which on H1 is hundreds of pips, so most trades never reach it. They end at the grey cross, when the trend loses its shape, about 40 pips below the top of that move. You give back part of the leg. In exchange the rule never has to guess where the high is.
Skip the signal when the arrow prints a long way from the T3 lines right after one huge candle. The filters passed because strength genuinely rose, but the move you were meant to catch has already happened. The USDJPY H4 screenshot is exactly that case, and it ends at a loss.
If the stop and the target both sit inside the same bar's range, the indicator decides the order from the open: an open nearer the high means the high came first. It's a guess either way, but it's a fixed guess, so reloading the chart never changes the outcome.
What it can't do
It's slow on purpose, and that costs something. Six chained EMAs over 90 bars need roughly 530 bars of history before the slow line appears at all, and signals are rare. On USDJPY H1 there was one trade in the first week of September. If you want something every session, this isn't it.
Slow also means late. On USDJPY H4 the SHORT only prints after the big drop is done, price drifts back up, and the exit rule closes the trade at a loss three weeks later. That one is in the screenshots too. I'd rather you see it here than find it on your own chart in week two.
The default stop is wide, 10 x ATR(120). Size the position from that distance, not from habit.
And the forming bar isn't final. An arrow or an exit can appear and vanish while the bar is still open. Closed bars don't change, because every piece of state the logic carries forward, channel direction, open position, stop, target, is stored per bar. That's also why alerts wait for the close unless you switch that off.
You won't find a win rate table in this listing, and I'd treat any indicator listing that has one with some care. This draws a rule-based trade plan. Whether you take the trades, and how big, is the part that decides your result.
Honestly, the slow part of building it wasn't the drawing. It was making sure the trade replay was right. I wrote the whole calculation twice, independently, and ran both against each other on 20 random price histories with five parameter sets until every signal, stop, target and exit matched bar for bar.
Settings you'll actually touch
- Fast and slow T3 length, and the T3 volume factor
- SSL period
- ATR period and the stop and target multipliers
- ADX period, DI length, and the length of the ADX average it compares against
- Which alerts fire, and whether they wait for the bar to close
Questions you'll have
Does it repaint? Closed bars don't. Every value carried forward is stored per bar, so reloading the chart gives the same arrows, levels and exits. The bar still forming can change until it closes.
MT4 or MT5? Same logic, same defaults, bar for bar. On MT4 the three exit types are three separate arrow colours instead of one colour-coded mark, and Telegram delivery is MT5 only.
Why did the T3 lines cross with no arrow? One filter said no. Look at the panel: either the SSL channel points the other way, or ADX is below its own average.
Why is nothing showing on my chart? The slow T3 needs about 530 bars. Scroll back or load more history on that timeframe.
Which timeframe? H1 and H4 with the defaults. On M15 and below the same settings cover a day or two per trend and the channel flips often. Shorten the periods if you want to work down there.
Why is the target so far away? 20 x ATR(120) by default. Most trades end on the exit rule long before it. Use a smaller multiplier if you'd rather take profit at a fixed distance.
Can an EA read it? Yes. On MT5, buffer 34 is +1 on a LONG and -1 on a SHORT, 35 the open position, 36 to 38 entry, stop and target, and 39 the exit reason: 1 target, 2 stop, 3 exit signal. On MT4 the same values sit one buffer higher, 35 to 40.
