Restarting the terminal clears this memory and ensures the EA uses the correct historical data.
In my own experience, I have noticed that after long periods of activity, backtests can show divergent values (sometimes dropping to €895), which return to normal immediately after a restart.
The dip at the end of the graph represents the forced closure of open positions at the end of the backtest period to calculate the final net profit.
This is a standard procedure in MetaTrader reporting and does not indicate a strategy failure.
