Hello angevoyageur,

 the problem is that the trades from the signal have the lowest lotsize.

Martingale strategy: 

Provider lotsize   / My lotsize:

1: 0.15 0.03

2: 0.15 0.03

3: 0.25 0.03

4: 0.42 0.03

5: 0.69 0.17

6: 1.16  0.03

Al the  sizes marked in red are wrong, why is the trade copied, but not the correct lotsize?

Can you give the account balance(and currency) and leverage for both the provider and your account ? Did you read how the volume is calculated : Frequently Asked Questions about the Signals service ?

Seems your are right : 0,191 is rounded to 15%.

Last check : there must be a line in Journal log about this ratio. Can you check that, and report this issue to ServiceDesk please ?

Hi BP33,

Personally I agree with you, especially on "Metaquotes are currently being more restrictive than a broker! :)". As I trader myself, higher leverage and small lot will help a lot in avoiding margin call, but then with the future version of Signal that promise totally set and forget - almost like an investment vehicle - a rookie traders who knows nothing about the risk, will simply open a live account, subscribe to signal, and abuse the leverage and may loss his/her money in no time. In that case MetaQuotes does not want to be blame for not hardwired restriction to its signal service :(. 

BTW, there's copy trade in the forum, you may want to look for it ;)

I wonder if there is practical work around for the following issue" cannot copy position, symbol xxx not found" ?

I got it when the broker for the signal provider use diffrent symbols than the broker I have for the signal.

I used Before same broker as the SP but it MUST some work around for that now

I appear to have set up a new Signal correctly but can't see it in the Signals List Tab.  Why not?
 

i cant find the "signals" tab on my MT4 i am running the 610 build with avatrade.

Any help would be appreciated.

 
I think - it is related to the broker (your broker disabled it). Ask your broker.
