Hello!!
Does the Metatrader5 application development roadmap include plans to introduce new timeframes smaller than 1 minute?
Looking at market behavior, it would seem advisable to consider very short timeframes
Thanks!!!

So, no need to make those timefranmes by default sorry.
Hi MetaQuotes,
Is it normal that trades close on a non existing price? How can this work technically?

Your sell order's TP/SL (or Buy Stop's/Buy Limit's entry) will be triggered when the Ask / OrderClosePrice reaches it.
The charts show Bid prices only.

How to use OrderTotal value as a variable
William Roeder, 2023.07.07 13:38
Why did you post your MT4 question in the MT5 EA section instead of the MQL4 section, (bottom of the Root page)?

Next time, post in the correct place. The moderators will likely move this thread there soon.
You buy at the Ask and sell at the Bid. Pending Buy Stop orders become market orders when hit by the Ask.
Your buy order's TP/SL (or Sell Stop's/Sell Limit's entry) are triggered when the Bid / OrderClosePrice reaches it. Using Ask±n, makes your SL shorter and your TP longer, by the spread. Don't you want the specified amount used in either direction?
Your sell order's TP/SL (or Buy Stop's/Buy Limit's entry) will be triggered when the Ask / OrderClosePrice reaches it. To trigger close at a specific Bid price, add the average spread.

The charts show Bid prices only. Turn on the Ask line to see how big the spread is (Tools → Options (control+O) → charts → Show ask line.)
Most brokers with variable spreads widen considerably at end of day (5 PM ET) ± 30 minutes.
My GBPJPY shows average spread = 26 points, average maximum spread = 134.
My EURCHF shows average spread = 18 points, average maximum spread = 106.
(your broker will be similar).
Is it reasonable to have such a huge spreads (20 PIP spreads) in EURCHF? - General - MQL5 programming forum (2022)
Besides, there is spread and slippage.

Anyway, the price on the charts, the symbols to trade, and the names of the symbols, and the time of the price on the chart - all of them are related to the brokers only. So, contact with broker for support.
Well, Im trading for over 14 years on MT platforms, and never ever saw such a huge price difference.
When NGAS current price is 2,85, you clsoe it and then on the statement you see price 3,75, one just cannot say "There was slippage, spread, not enough of liquidity etc". Besides this, At the time of closing, bid and ask prices were clearly visible and normal, spread was normal, and the order has been closed during normal market hours.
And this is happening over and over again. 2 days ago, I tested ADA instrument. Orders were being closed again on non existing prices, despite the fact that the live bid and ask prices that are visible are perfectly normal. You can see the trades on the screenshot attached.
This is also happening on Forex. On 1 lot EURUSD, you are closing the deal on -8 USD loss, but when you click close, a miracle happens and it immediately increases the loss to -37 USD. I tested it with about 40 little trades and have all of this documented.
I went deeper into this topic and now I can clearly see that its a broker manitupation. An artifical slippage, or adding loss upon closing of the deal. A bad doing on broker servers.
Do you have any experience with this practice?

And the prices/datafeed are related to the brokers only (it is not related to Metatrader platform at all).
---------------
I mean: If you do not agree with some price and so on - write to the broker's support (because this forum will not help with that as the prices are related/managed by the brokers only).
So, ask your broker about that (and about "why" for example).
Well, if it's the same story with EURUSD, you'd better run from that broker. There's really nothing we can do here.
I feel for you.
