I think American companies have long ago made a "user agreement" specifically for such cases, which will also leave this guy owing money.

I think that American companies have long ago made a "user agreement" for such cases, which will leave this man with a huge amount of money to pay.
I'm inclined to say the same thing.

Vadim Baklanov:
Думаю что специально для таких случаев американские компании давно уже сделали "пользовательское соглашение" по которому этот мужик еще и денег должен останется.

Where's the proof?

Ihor Herasko:

No problem)))

Trust me, the passenger will be a pain in the neck for a company that already understands that it is in a serious trouble. They won't leave it at that in the US.

What do you mean they won't leave it like that? Nobody cares about anybody. It's fashionable there, everyone is just waiting for someone to screw up so that they can get ripped off by the courts.
How could this happen in "prosperous" America? You can still get it in Zimbabwe, but in America? Well, where are the local "lovers of American democracy?)

Я!

What's wrong with it?

It means that either the case will go to court (and there it all depends on the credulity of the passenger's lawyers) or the company will be able to motivate the passenger to go to court for a large sum of money.

That's exactly what this is about. They have "egregious" cases at every turn.

Happens all the time, not all cases get this kind of momentum. Someone just wanted to tarnish the company's reputation in this case. So there is a lot of publicity.

pruf he thinks so? )))

yeah

When getting out of the car, keep your eyes open so you don't accidentally get hit by a... deer.

The USA is a democracy, and therefore a state governed by the rule of law, which means that the demos have rights, and they pour money from their pockets into their pockets with the help of the courts. And the ochlos (cattle), of which about 90% of the population, as in any capitol country, have no rights in fact, for one simple reason - a lawyer is too expensive. In the USA a million quid for lawyers is an ordinary sum.

Everyone in our country can see that. There are 40 million pensioners and 20 million below the poverty line. In a circle not more than 15,0000 per nose. Simple consultation with a lawyer - 5000, writing a statement of claim - from 10000. And if the courts, 100,000 is not God knows what money. But the right to sue is available - a state governed by the rule of law. So we carry around with mythical rights....

You must know your place.
