amiralias Neither +DI nor -DI are used in comparison with any levels but exclusively in comparison to each other. Here is a good explanation how ADX indicator is used : ADX: The Trend Strength Indicator

i know that , but i am trying to use +di movements

anyway if its difficult to use +di

so please replace it with adx(3)>40 and other conditions .

if periods and values of each item can be adjustable it would be much better .

NK version is wrong. Use the correct version (from the last link provided)

Since the original was written by Ehlers using tradestation, here is a comparison of metatrader version (the correct one) :

and tradestation version (same parameters) :

anything that gives different results from these two with those same parameters has a coding error in it

I'm a little bit confused is the version of igor ad correct with mtf and alert or the upgraded version and if it is the last one would you add only arrow and alert . I don't need mtf. Thank you
