Sinewave3.1 S&R mtf

sinewave3.1.mq4

Hi Mladen,

Is it possible to code the attached Ehlers' sinewave indicator (Sinewave3.1) as multi time frame? I find this indicator very useful on the H4+ time frames, but want to find entries using lower ones.

Thanks,

Assuming the posted indicator here is latest one you have, can you add a RSX option to it and add arrows with alerts on the crosses? If there is an updated one, please use that one.

Thanks

Did you test this indicator : https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/general ?

It has all the RSI types (TSX too) and extra of the usual averages types that are used in calculation

Its not MTF and has no alerts though.

If its easier to use the RSI of Averages - Advanced indicator then could you add the following:

If you could add:

1) MTF

2) Plot the assumed avg and plot the RSI against the avg

3) add alerts on the cross of RSI over the avg

4) add arrows for 3) above

5) add an adaptive version of RSX

6) NRP

It should like the one I posted with 2 lines plotted with arrows at the crosses

5. There are many versions of adaptive RSX - it would be best to keep it a regular version and then eventually do some of the adaptive RSX versions

6. That is a NRP (non repainting) version already

For start test this : it is the rsioma nrp + mtf + alerts with a choice of rsi methods :
0-> rsi

1 -> Wilders rsi

2 -> rsx

3 -> Cuttlers rsi

Al the rest is kept as in the original

Here is an example of rsioma using rsx for calculation :

Great, I thought you were going to start with the other one though.

Can you add alerts on the crosses with arrows?

Is it also possible to calculate PIPs between the arrows and print the number above or below the arrow to aid in manual backtesting?

What type is the moving avg used?

Thank You

thorcmt,

Just answers to questions 2 and 3 now :

2. It is impossible to exactly find out the moment and the price when the lines crossed, hence it is impossible to calculate exact difference in pips of arrows on a chart for past bars

3. It is using linear weighted moving average if you use default values

thorcmt

Just checking : arrows on chart or arrows on the indicator itself (in the sub-window)?
