I would be interested in an indicator that draws a Main Trend Channel and then also the Inner Trend Channel. I have included a chart that I hope is clear. Has this been done? I draw these price channels by hand but I would like to see if someone could do it so that they are drawn automatically. I am combining this with a proprietary RSI Indicator.
will it be kind of zig zag indicator
the inner ones, lot of zig zag alike indicator can do that
main channel, == you may have to draw it in higher TF , then lower it (lower TF to see it)
but zig zag could make you having false belief all the time

I have been enjoying the range bars for almost a year now.. love 'em!!
Unfortunately, my broker has dropped me like a hot iron because I live
in the US. I have my set up for 6500 bars and now have alot of data
in my charts that I will lose unless I can transfer the old tick data
into the new MT brokers data folder. I have looked but don't see the
folder where the M2 charts data is stored. Where do I need to go to
copy the data from my old M2 charts to my new brokers folder? I dont
want to lose all the bars as some of my indicators look a ways back.

the data are located in the history folder under feed name. For example my feed on my broker is in C:\Program Files\MIG4\history\MIGBank-Real2\EURUSD2.hst.
Instead of moving M2 files you can copy M1 file and regenerate the bars.
Also note, if you are my client the fastest way to get support is through my web site (there is also Skype button available). I'm not reading forums very frequently.

but i jst can not seem to get the range bar chart to open..
i load a one minute chart.. load the indicator, check the "dll" box
great..then file open offline..
1 minute eurus .. nothing. i get another off line time chart!?!?
any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think it would be helpful if this indi allowed for a alert message when bar reaches greater than a certain size. Would anyone be able to code that?

I designed my own CRB converter for MT4.
It has next features:
1. Designed as "indicator", not a script or expert.
2. Sound for closing bar.
3. One, two, three and more different range-charts on one currency (instrument)
4. Auto recovery after disconnect or closing MT4.
Off-line generating script should never be put into indicator.

There is a serious problem when putting off-line generating code into an indicator. On the Forex Factory forum there is a thread when somebody reinvented the Renko's with an indicator just like you've reinvented CRB's. In short, it is not stable (you will miss some ticks) and can even freeze the terminal. For more details, please search the FF forum.

But I'm use my converter about 6 month. As for me saving ability is more important than probably missing one-two ticks. I'm use some additional indicators with Bid control on my offline range-chart, and they working well for me.
Agree with your opinion about EA.

The range_bars_wlas_v09.zip has bugs.
It gets confused and generates multiple identical bars. And the range of bars are frequently much larger than the setting. See i44.tinypic.com/352ex6u.gif
