Kingdom Knight Gold trades rarely, and a quiet chart raises the same question every time: is it working? Since version 15.7, Kingdom Knight Gold answers that on the chart itself. It adds a status panel that shows the rank, the risk per trade, open positions and the reason when the EA is waiting, plus a balance check in the Strategy Tester Journal. Version 15.7 did not change the trading logic: its backtests are identical to version 15.6, deal for deal.

Where the panel appears

The panel is drawn on live charts and in visual Strategy Tester runs. In non-visual tests it is not created at all, so test speed is unaffected. Two inputs control it: "Show status panel" (on by default) and "Panel corner" (top left by default). The text colour adapts to your chart background.

The seven lines, from top to bottom

  1. Product, version and the selected rank, for example Knight Commander.
  2. Risk per trade for the three strategies, and a reminder that Kingdom Knight Gold sends every order with a hard stop loss and take profit.
  3. Open positions out of three, and today's result.
  4. Status: why the EA is waiting right now.
  5. The last skipped setup, with the balance that 0.01 lot would have needed for it.
  6. The stop sizes that 0.01 lot can carry at your current balance, per strategy.
  7. A balance guide: about how much balance takes 9 in 10 setups for the selected rank, at today's volatility.

What the status line means

  • "waiting for the next setup": the normal state. Kingdom Knight Gold trades rarely; judge it over months, not weeks.
  • "all three strategies in a trade": each strategy already holds its position.
  • "market closed" or a spread notice: trading conditions are outside the EA's limits for the moment.
  • "setup skipped, 0.01 lot above rank risk": the stop for that setup was wider than the selected rank allows at 0.01 lot on this balance. Kingdom Knight Gold skips such a setup instead of oversizing.
  • "not enough free margin for 0.01 lot": the account cannot open the minimum size.

The balance check in the Strategy Tester

When you test the free demo, the Journal tab now prints, at the start of the run, the settings behind the published results and a balance check for the deposit you chose. When the deposit is too small for the selected rank, it says so and shows the balance that takes about 9 in 10 setups at current volatility. At the end of the run, the summary adds how many setups were skipped because 0.01 lot was above the rank risk.

This is the most common reason a small test shows few trades. Reading these lines first saves the wrong conclusion that the EA does nothing.

How to use it in three steps

  1. Reproduce the published test first: the settings below, the model "Every tick based on real ticks", the default rank, nothing else changed.
  2. Then run your own deposit and read the balance check in the Journal.
  3. In a visual Strategy Tester run you can already watch the panel. After purchase, attach Kingdom Knight Gold to an XAUUSD H1 chart on a demo account and watch the status line for a few days before going live.

The balance guide is information, not advice. It changes with the daily range of gold, and the EA never changes the rank on its own.
