If you’re looking for an MT5 trading system built around selectivity and defined trade risk, meet Apex Drawdown Zero. Your licence also includes Apex Drawdown Zero V12—and Apex owners can apply to test the upcoming V13 beta.
A lot of EAs compete for attention by promising constant action. Apex takes a different approach: it waits for its setup conditions, defines risk before entry, and can sit out when the conditions aren’t there.
Apex Drawdown Zero V9: Selective Trading on MT5
The current V9 build is designed for XAUUSD, EURUSD and EURJPY on H1. It takes at most one qualified trade per day and uses percentage-based position sizing, a structural stop-loss from entry, break-even management, session filters and spread protection.
It does not use grid, martingale, averaging or recovery trading. That means you shouldn’t expect a trade every day. The EA is designed to wait when its qualification rules aren’t met.

V12 Is Included with Your Apex Licence
Every Apex Drawdown Zero MT5 licence now includes Apex Drawdown Zero V12 at no additional cost. V12 is a separate gold EA for XAUUSD on H1, with opening-range and trend-pullback strategies, a risk firewall, and a dedicated FTMO challenge mode. V12 is no longer sold separately.
The two EAs have different approaches and settings. V9 supports three instruments; V12 is designed for gold. Read each guide and choose settings that fit your account and risk tolerance.

Apex Last God Tool V13: Beta Access for Apex Owners
Apex owners can apply to test Apex Last God Tool V13, an early build with per-symbol presets across six markets: XAUUSD, XAGUSD, EURJPY, EURUSD, USDCAD and AUDUSD.
V13 is beta software and is still being tested; it is not the same as the finished V9 product. The Beta Lab provides access to the build and asks testers to report what they observe.
If you join, install it on a demo account and share useful feedback about your broker, spreads, execution and any unexpected behaviour. Beta software can contain defects and may behave unexpectedly.
Who Is Apex For?
Apex may suit MT5 traders who want a selective, rules-based approach and are comfortable setting their own risk and evaluating an EA carefully. It may not suit traders who expect frequent trades or guaranteed results.
A note for prop-firm traders: V9 does not have a built-in daily-loss or maximum-drawdown halt. Set your risk with your firm’s limits in mind and confirm that the firm permits Expert Advisors. V12 has its own risk firewall, but no EA can guarantee a challenge pass or protect you from every market or execution condition.
