Introduction — What This Manual Covers

AATHMAA is designed for users who want to understand the EA’s behaviour, risk, backtest statistics and recommended settings before committing real capital. The focus is on controlled risk, disciplined execution and long-term consistency, not simply maximum returns.

Core Philosophy: Safety First, Then Growth

AATHMAA is built around predefined risk management. Each trade uses protective stop-loss management, while the strategy aims to maintain a favourable reward-to-risk relationship. The objective is to allow profitable trades to contribute meaningfully while keeping individual losses controlled.

Trade Frequency, Trade Count & Profit Factor

Trade Frequency % (TF%) controls how actively the EA participates in the market. Lower TF% generally means fewer and more selective trades, while higher TF% increases trading activity. Optimization shows that higher frequency does not automatically mean better performance. Increasing frequency can increase trade count and opportunity, but may reduce Profit Factor and Expected Payoff per trade while changing Drawdown.

Suggested Input Settings

Conservative

  • USDJPY — 0.3% / TF 50–60
  • GBPUSD — 0.3% / TF 20–30
  • EURUSD — OFF or 0.1% / TF 5
  • XAUUSD — 0.5% / TF 10–40

Balanced — Recommended Default

  • USDJPY — 0.7% / TF 70
  • GBPUSD — 0.5% / TF 40–60
  • EURUSD — 0.1% / TF 5
  • XAUUSD — 0.5% / TF 40–60

Aggressive

  • USDJPY — 1.0% / TF 60–90
  • GBPUSD — 1.0% / TF 60–90
  • EURUSD — OFF
  • XAUUSD — 0.5% / TF 60–80

These are recommended starting configurations, not guaranteed optimal settings.

Individual Pair Mode

  • USDJPY — TF 70–100
  • GBPUSD — TF 20–50
  • EURUSD — TF 5
  • XAUUSD — TF 20–85 with 0.5% risk
Note: EURUSD can be used as a supporting pair, but increasing its trade frequency substantially can dilute the overall quality of the portfolio.

Backtest & Optimization Summary

Attached all individual symbol optimization results demonstrate how the EA behaved under the tested conditions; they should not be interpreted as guaranteed future returns. Different pairs respond differently to frequency, so there is no single setting that is universally optimal. Moderate-frequency configurations generally provide a better balance between opportunity, profitability and drawdown.

A note on tick modeling: MT5 offers several modeling modes (Every Tick, Every Tick based on Real Ticks, 1-Minute OHLC, Open Prices Only). In our own side-by-side testing against the live signal account, "Every Tick" mode has consistently been the one that matches live behavior most closely for this EA and broker combination — this is why all published backtests use that mode, and it's what we'd recommend if you re-test it yourself.

So i want to summarize that
  • Strong overall performance: The backtests demonstrate positive profitability with robust Profit Factor across the tested configurations.
  • Trade frequency matters: Higher frequency increases trading opportunities, but can reduce Profit Factor and risk-adjusted efficiency.
  • Risk vs. return: Moderate-frequency settings generally provide a better balance between Expected Payoff, Profit Factor and Drawdown.
  • Live-cost consideration: Customers should consider commission, spread, slippage and swap before selecting high-frequency settings, as these costs can significantly affect live results.

Commission, Spread & Swap — Important

Trade Frequency should never be selected based only on backtest profit. More trades can mean more commission, spread, slippage and swap/overnight costs. A higher-frequency setting should only be considered when the additional Expected Payoff is sufficient to justify these costs. Always evaluate the settings using your own broker's trading conditions.

Compounding — Explained Simply

AATHMAA calculates position size from the current account balance. Therefore, the same risk percentage produces larger monetary positions as the account grows. Compounding can accelerate growth, but it also increases the monetary impact of future drawdowns. Compounding does not create profitability—it amplifies the underlying performance, both positively and negatively.

The Right Mindset to Run AATHMAA

Optimism is the one thing a trader shouldn't afford. Know your worst case before you look at your best case. If you can do that, this tool was built for you. If you can't, please don't buy it — you'll break the system trying to "fix" its mid-drawdown. Judge the EA over a meaningful number of trades rather than a few days, maintain consistent risk, avoid increasing risk to recover losses, and consider periodic withdrawals as part of personal risk management.

Testing Before Live Trading

Use MT5 Strategy Tester with appropriate settings, then validate behaviour on a demo account before going live. Start with a manageable balance, monitor real spreads and slippage, and scale only after gaining confidence in live execution.

Final Note

AATHMAA’s backtests, optimization results and live behaviour are intended to demonstrate strategy characteristics—not guarantee future performance. Market conditions, broker execution, commission, spread, swap and slippage can materially affect live results. Trading involves risk, and users should test the EA under their own conditions before committing significant capital.
