Basket EA MT4/5 Settings/Inputs Guide

• Symbols to Manage: symbols/instruments separated by comma, that will be taken into account by the EA on the basket profit/loss calculations. For example if you put EURUSD,GBPUSD in this setting, the EA will take into account only the EURUSD and GBPUSD trades. If you leave this setting empty the EA will manage all account trades.

• Symbols not to Manage: symbols/instruments separated by comma, that will not be taken into account by the EA on the basket profit/loss calculations. For example if you put USDCAD,USDJPY in this setting, the EA will not take into account the USDCAD and USDJPY trades. If you leave this setting empty the EA will manage all account trades.

• Reset Basket Settings on Target: True/false. This setting is false by default and that means that the EA will reset all Basket % or in Money settings after each new account balance update. So after each closure of an open trade all Basket settings will be reset and start calculating all Basket TP/SL/BE and Trailing SL settings from that new updated account balance. When this setting is true the EA will update all Basket % or in Money settings only when a Basket SL/TP/BE or Trailing SL target has been triggered and achieved. 

• Use Basket Take Profit %: True/false of the Basket Take Profit % option.

• Basket Take Profit in Money: The Take Profit level in account currency (decimals are available) for all open positions combined, in which the EA will close all open positions. The profit is calculated taking swaps and commissions into account. This setting is being reset on every account balance update when Reset Basket Settings on Target=false and only when a Basket TP/SL/BE or Trailing SL target has been achieved when Reset Basket Settings on Target=true.

• Use Basket Stop Loss in Money: True/false of the Basket Stop Loss in Money option.

• Basket Stop Loss in Money: The Stop Loss level in account currency (decimals are available) for all open positions combined, in which the EA will close all open positions. The loss is calculated taking swaps and commissions into account. This setting is being reset on every account balance update when Reset Basket Settings on Target=false and only when a Basket TP/SL/BE or Trailing SL target has been achieved when Reset Basket Settings on Target=true.

• Use Basket Break Even in Money: True/false of the Basket Break Even in Money option.

• Basket Break Even in Money: The profit level in account currency (decimals are available) for all open positions combined, in which the EA will move the Stop Loss level to Break Even. The Break Even level takes swaps and commissions into account. This setting is being reset on every account balance update.

• Use Basket Trailing Stop Loss in Money: True/false of the Basket Trailing Stop Loss in Money option.

• Basket Trailing Start in Money: The profit level in account currency (decimals are available) for all open positions combined, in which the EA will start Trailing the Stop Loss level upwards.

• Basket Trailing Stop in Money: The Trailing Stop Loss level in account currency (decimals are available), in which the EA will close all open positions if its reached. The Trailing Stop Loss level is calculated taking swaps and commissions into account. This setting is being reset on every account balance update when Reset Basket Settings on Target=false and only when a Basket TP/SL/BE or Trailing SL target has been achieved when Reset Basket Settings on Target=true.

• Basket Trailing Step in Money: The Trailing Step level in account currency (decimals are available), in which the EA will move the Stop Loss level upwards to the next level.

• Use Account Protection: True/false of the option to use the Account protection option for your entire trading account. When this is true, the EA will close all open trades and delete all pending orders in the account if the Account Take Profit or Account Stop Loss Equity is reached below. If the Close All Charts After TP/SL Equity setting below is also true, the EA will close all charts except the one is attached onto and will remove all other attached EAs, making sure that you keep your profits if Take Profit Equity was triggered or protect you from further losses if Stop Loss Equity was triggered. This setting must be also true if you want to use the Max Drawdown % from Balance High below.

• Max Drawdown % from Balance High: In this setting you can put the maximum drawdown percentage that you can accept for your account, that when it is reached the EA will close all account trades and other charts, removing any other EAs attached on them, in order to save your account from further losses. The maximum drawdown percentage is calculated from the highest balance level of your account, since the EA was attached on it. This option will close all other charts and remove any other EAs attached on them, even if the below Close All Charts After TP/SL Equity setting is false. The above Use Account Protection setting must be true, if you want this Max Drawdown % from Balance High to work.

• Account Take Profit Equity:  The account equity level, over which the Account Protection above and the Close All Charts below will be triggered. 

• Account Stop Loss Equity: The account equity level, under which the Account Protection above and the Close All Charts below will be triggered. 

• Close All Charts After TP/SL Equity: True/false of the option to close all charts except the one the EA is attached onto and remove all other attached EAs, making sure that you keep your profits if Take Profit Equity was triggered or protect you from further losses if Stop Loss Equity was triggered.

How to Setup your Alerts

For setting up your alerts, read the following instructions carefully:

Open MT4/5 >> Tools >> Options >> Email tab and you fill in the necessary details for your email and server, in order to receive your email notifications. Below is an example of the details that are required and a list of the most popular email providers and their SMTP settings.

● In the SMTP server field you need to put your email provider’s SMTP address, you can see most of the popular providers below.

● In the SMTP login field you need to put your full email, for example: johnsmith@gmail.com

● In the SMTP password field, you need to put your email’s password.

● In the From and To fields, you need to put your full name a comma and then your email again, for example: John Smith, johnsmith@gmail.com

In order to set up your push notifications, open the MT4/5 >> Tools >> Options >> Notifications tab and fill in your mobile device’s or tablet’s MQL5 ID number, in order to receive your push notifications to those devices. You can find these MQL5 ID codes in your MT4/5 mobile app, if you click in Settings >> Messages.

You can also find your MQL5 IDs in your MQL5 account’s profile >> settings >> security.

If you want to hear a sound when a terminal alert is arriving on your terminal, make sure you've ticked the appropriate option in MT4/5 >> Tools >> Options >> Events
