EUR/USD Regains 1.1500, Hovers Near 8-Month Highs
EUR/USD managed
to regain the 1.1500 level and consolidates gains near recent highs as
the greenback continues to underperform across the board.
EUR/USD
climbed to a peak of 1.1534 earlier on the day, but with the subsequent
pullback being contained by 1.1490 the pair managed to settle in a slim
range near highs over the last hours. At time of writing, EUR/USD is
trading at 1.1510, up 0.59% on the day.
EUR/USD technical levels
In
terms of technical levels, immediate resistances are seen at 1.1534
(May 2 high), 1.1560 (Aug 26 2015 high) and 1.1620 (Aug 25 2015 high).
On the other hand, supports could be found at 1.1447 (May 2 low),
1.1346/41 (Apr 29 low/20-day SMA) and 1.1297 (Apr 28 low).
