Bastion Suite — a trading complex for EURUSD
Bastion Suite is a unique complex with no direct analogues on the market. It currently consists of 5 expert advisors that operate and are managed as a single whole — with strict visible limits, mutually aware positions and a monitoring panel covering the work of the entire complex.
The Bastion philosophy
- The first task is to preserve capital. Returns always come second to risk control.
- Bastion does not allow excessive risk: every entry, every lot and every series is bounded by explicit limits.
What it is
- One engine and several pre-configured setups (set files included) trading EURUSD as a coordinated portfolio on a single account.
- Each setup holds one position at a time and manages it as a series: after a losing leg, the next leg uses a stepped lot to work back the result of the series.
- The stepped recovery is capped and guarded. Protection limits are the core of the product.
A portfolio that works as a team
- The setups are deliberately diversified in direction: their results partially offset each other, smoothing the portfolio curve.
- The advisors interact: each one sees the positions opened by the others. When several setups enter at the same time, the combined exposure is automatically reduced — the complex never allows itself to take full risk in all series at once.
- The portfolio complements the built-in protections of each setup; it does not replace them.
The Bastion panel
- A dedicated web panel is provided for monitoring the complex: all setups on one screen — open positions, series status, daily and weekly results, trade history.
- The panel shows the work of the whole portfolio without digging through terminal logs.
- Access to the panel is provided after purchase via mql5 private messages, together with the installation guide.
How it trades
- A reversal engine on M1 candles confirms a trend flip; the entry is taken counter to the move, with a confirmation delay.
- Regime filters: an ADX (H4) threshold, the H4 EMA(50) trend state with hysteresis, an entry block on major holidays, spread control.
- Series management: a stepped lot with a hard cap on steps, a breakeven exit from the third trade of a series, and a series loss limit that closes the series and pauses trading until the next day.
- Position sizing is percent-based and scales with the account balance.
- Safe stop mode: one switch stops opening new series while the running series are completed correctly — for holidays, withdrawals or a pause.
Yearly results:
- 2023 (from July): +104.7%
- 2024: +21.9% — the hardest year of the period: all losing months fall on it.
- 2025: +224.0%
- 2026 (through July): +87.2%
- Total over 37 months: +437.8% of the starting deposit, an average of 10–11% per month.
- Losing months: 6 out of 37.
- With profit reinvestment, the same period grows the deposit more than 40 times over.
- The version was additionally tested on the out-of-sample period 2019–2022: +166%, with every year positive except 2022.
