Entry signals as finger marks: yellow for trend-following, pink for counter-trend.

SignRAMB combines RSI, ATR, MACD, a moving average, Dow theory and the candles, and marks the places where the price may turn up or down, based on past chart patterns. A finger pointing up is a buy, pointing down is a sell. Signals are decided on closed bars and never repaint.

Signals are not always right. Use them as one indicator, together with your own reading of the chart. They are meant for the move right after the signal, not for long holds, so they can also be used for short-term trading such as scalping.

Features

  1. Trend-following signals: yellow fingers.
  2. Counter-trend signals: pink fingers at possible turns.
  3. Six inputs combined: RSI, ATR, MACD, moving average, Dow theory and the candles.
  4. No repainting: signals are decided on closed bars.
  5. Signals on past bars: shown as soon as you attach it, kept when you change the timeframe (up to 50,000 bars back).
  6. M1-D1 panel: the Dow trend (Up / Dn), RSI and the latest signal with how many bars ago, for M1, M5, M15, M30, H1, H4 and D1. Moves to any corner and folds.
  7. Period 14 / 21 / 28 and Level L1-L5 buttons on the panel. Past signals are redrawn at once. A larger level gives fewer signals and tends to cut false ones.
  8. Trend-colored moving average: light blue when the Dow trend is up, pink when down.
  9. Notifications: alert, e-mail and push, once per signal when a new bar starts.

Inputs (main)

  • Signal confirmation (current bar or 1-7 bars back) and bars of past signals
  • Dow theory trend on/off, trend confirmation (wicks or bodies), bars on each side for swing points
  • Moving average on/off, values on chart and their color
  • Panel on/off and X / Y offset
  • Buy / Sell signal messages; e-mail, alert and push notifications

Examples

  • USDJPY M1: 21 / L3, USDJPY H1: 28 / L3, GOLD M1: 21 / L3
  • Crypto with high volatility: a lower sensitivity (L4, L5)
