Scalper Major
Scalper Major brings a faithful reconstruction of the research paper: "Scalper Major: A Computational Solution for Automated Trading in High Volatility Environments". It preserves signal-driven grid entries, progressive lot sizing and basket management, adding the SMA200 trend filter and high-impact news filter used in this version. This is an independent implementation; trade-for-trade identity and the original paper's returns are not claimed.
One EA manages EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDCAD and USDCHF from a single EURUSD H1 chart. RSI and candlestick signals, M1 confirmation, spread and margin checks work together with an on-chart status and news panel. Standard hedging accounts in USD, EUR and JPY are supported. No DLLs or external WebRequest setup is required.
One account, four pairs: results at different starting balances The four pairs share one account: the deposit is for the whole portfolio, not for each pair.
Low initial capital was tested too: with $1,000, Scalper Major completed the January 2016-August 2026 simulation without stop-out, generating $12,769.66 net profit and a final balance of $13,769.66. This demonstrates operation with a smaller starting account in the tested historical scenario. Maximum relative equity drawdown was 81.97%.
$1,000 initial balance: +$12,769.66 net profit | $13,769.66 final balance | 2,206 closed trades | 81.97% maximum relative equity drawdown.
$19,400 initial balance: +$20,551.92 net profit | $39,951.92 final balance | 2,252 closed trades | 35.19% maximum relative equity drawdown. This was the lowest tested deposit preserving every trade and fill of the $20,000 reference.
$20,000 initial balance: +$20,551.92 net profit | $40,551.92 final balance | 2,252 closed trades | 34.39% maximum relative equity drawdown. This is the reference backtest.
All three accounts completed the historical test without stop-out. All started in January 2016 and ran through August 2026; earlier profits helped support later drawdowns. The $1,000 account followed a different trade flow. The initial lot does not automatically shrink with a smaller deposit. These historical results do not establish a guaranteed minimum for starting today: capital needs depend on the starting date, broker conditions and settings.
Historical backtest: January 2016 - August 2026 One continuous USD 20,000 account, with no annual resets:
- Net profit: $20,551.92 | Final balance: $40,551.92
- Closed trades: 2,252 | Profit factor: 2.91
- Winning trades: 90.36% | Maximum relative equity drawdown: 34.39%
MT5 real-tick test with SMA200 and high-impact news filtering (+/-15 minutes), 1:500 leverage, $5/lot entry commission, zero swap and 50 ms delay. Includes forced closure of remaining positions at the test end. Public tick data contain gaps; these are historical simulations, not live results or an independent out-of-sample validation.
The strategy uses grids and increasing lots without a fixed stop loss. Positions can remain open for extended periods, and losses can be substantial. Test on your broker's data and costs before choosing your capital and settings. The embedded tester calendar covers dates through August 2026.
