The EfratBuilds Risk Manager Tool is a chart based trading aid built for traders who want to plan a position visually before sending it to the market. Instead of typing prices into an order ticket, the trader drags three lines directly on the chart - Entry, Take Profit, and Stop Loss - and the tool keeps the money value, the point distance, and the resulting reward to risk ratio updated on screen at all times. The design goal is simple - reduce the chance of a mistyped price or a forgotten stop, while keeping the trader in full control of every value before a trade is sent.
The input parameters shape how the tool behaves once it is loaded on a chart. Lots sets the trade size used for every order the tool sends. Default Stop Loss Points and Default Reward to Risk together decide where the initial Stop Loss and Take Profit lines appear the moment the tool is opened, before the trader has dragged anything. The three tag colors let the trader recognize the Take Profit, Stop Loss, and Entry rows at a glance, and the selected color highlights whichever row is currently active for dragging. The right side padding keeps the price tags clear of the chart edge and any broker watermark. Magic Number and Comment are attached to every order so the trades placed by this tool can be identified later among other positions. Slippage sets how much price movement is tolerated between the moment Go is pressed and the moment the broker fills the order. Pending Expiry controls how long a Limit or Stop order stays live before it cancels itself, with zero meaning the order never expires on its own. Max Retries and Retry Delay decide how many times the tool tries again after a recoverable broker error, and how long it waits between attempts. Margin Buffer Percent adds a safety cushion on top of the margin the broker requires, so a trade is only allowed if enough free margin remains after that cushion is set aside. Auto Correct decides what happens if the chosen order mode does not match where the Entry line sits relative to the market - when enabled, the tool fixes the mismatch automatically instead of rejecting the trade. Trade Async chooses between sending the order and waiting for a response, or sending it and continuing immediately. The Warning System, when enabled, reviews the slippage setting against the live spread on the current symbol and lets the trader know if it looks too tight or too loose, and separately reviews whether the default Stop Loss and Take Profit distances make sense in money terms for a symbol that is not a standard currency pair. Language selects which of the ten supported languages is used for every message, warning, and button label the tool shows.
The control buttons are how the trader operates the tool once it is on the chart. The main button switches the entire tool on or off, showing or hiding all of its rows and lines in one click. The Mode button cycles between Auto, Limit, and Stop, and decides what kind of order is sent when Go is pressed - Auto lets the tool pick the correct pending order type on its own based on where Entry sits, while Limit and Stop let the trader force a specific type, with Auto Correct stepping in only if that forced choice would otherwise be rejected by the broker. Each row - Entry, Take Profit, and Stop Loss - carries a small cancel control that removes that row from the plan. Canceling Take Profit or Stop Loss simply means the trade will be sent without that protection, while canceling Entry closes the entire tool, since without an entry price there is nothing left to place. A trade can still be sent with only one of Take Profit or Stop Loss active, but not with both removed. The pin control on the Take Profit and Stop Loss rows locks that row to its current price, so when Entry is dragged afterward, the pinned row stays exactly where it was instead of moving together with Entry. Next to Entry sit three more controls - Go sends the plan to the market as a real order using the current Entry, Take Profit, and Stop Loss, Reverse flips the entire plan to its mirror image so a planned long trade becomes a short one with Take Profit and Stop Loss swapped, and Magnet snaps the Entry row back to the current market price, which is useful after the trader has moved Entry away while comparing scenarios and wants to return to a live, tradable price before pressing Go.
