Introducing GoldHub Sentinel
Most gold EAs are an engine with brakes bolted on afterwards. Sentinel was engineered the opposite way: five independent protection layers were designed first, and the trading engine operates inside them. It was validated on 26 years of historical data (2000–2026) before any public release — including the number most sellers hide: a maximum equity drawdown of 34.7 percent over that entire period, published right next to the returns.
Built for real risk, not for pretty curves
Sentinel trades XAUUSD in short- to medium-duration cycles, entering only when multiple independent market-condition filters align — trend, momentum regime and volatility environment all have to agree. Some days produce several cycles; others produce none. That selectivity is intentional.
Position management uses a controlled-depth averaging structure with a flat lot multiplier of 1.00: it never doubles position size to recover a loss. This is the opposite of martingale — spacing between levels widens with volatility, the lot size does not.
Five layers between the market and your account
- Entry filters and a position brake that stop new exposure the moment conditions turn.
- An automatic hedge module that contains drawdown beyond a configurable threshold.
- A deep deleveraging mode that progressively reduces exposure under extreme stress.
- A weekend close — no position is ever left exposed to Monday opening gaps.
- An absolute loss floor: maximum loss per cycle, per day, and maximum position age. It closes everything and stops. Active in every risk profile — no combination of settings can disable it by accident.
Every cycle is logged to a CSV on your terminal: depth, peak volume, worst floating loss, and the reason it closed. What happened to your account is never a mystery.
Plug and play
Attach to one XAUUSD chart, keep the optimized defaults, size the risk input to your account. No parameter optimization required. Multiple charts on one account are supported through distinct magic numbers. A real-time dashboard shows the cycle state, protection status and daily performance at a glance.
Requirements
- Symbol: XAUUSD. Timeframe: any (Sentinel uses its own internal timeframes).
- Account type: Hedging (required by the hedge module — the EA verifies at startup).
- Recommended: 1,000 EUR/USD or more on a Pro / ECN / Raw-spread account.
- Smaller capital: use a Cent account. Sentinel's position sizing scales with balance, and a cent account keeps the risk structure intact below the recommended deposit — the protection layers work exactly the same.
- Leverage 1:100 or higher.
- VPS strongly recommended for uninterrupted operation.
- Test on a demo account first. Always.
