GoldHub Sentinel — Live Verified Results and Recommended Setup
This post gathers everything a GoldHub Sentinel user (or prospective user) needs in one place: independently verified live results, the recommended account setup, and how to get the right set file for your account.
Live verified results
We believe a track record only counts when a third party verifies it. Sentinel's live performance is tracked in real time on Myfxbook, with trading privileges verified: (Attachment file)
What you see there is the account as it is — wins, losses and drawdowns included. We publish it precisely because most gold EAs only show you a backtest curve. Bookmark it and check it before you buy, not after.
Recommended setup
- Symbol: XAUUSD only. Attach to one chart; the EA uses its own internal timeframes, so the chart timeframe does not matter.
- Account type: Hedging (required by the hedge protection module — the EA verifies this at startup and warns you if your account is netting).
- Recommended capital: 1,000 EUR/USD or more on a Pro / ECN / Raw-spread account. Sentinel's basket target adapts to spread, so low-spread accounts make cycles more efficient.
- Smaller capital: use a Cent account. Balances are denominated in cents (1 EUR = 100 units), which keeps Sentinel's proportional risk structure intact below the recommended deposit — all protection layers work exactly the same.
- Leverage: 1:100 minimum.
- VPS: strongly recommended. Sentinel manages positions actively; it should not depend on your home computer staying awake.
- Always start on a demo account. Watch at least a full week of cycles before considering live capital.
Set files
The EA ships with safe, tested defaults — including the weekend close, so no position is left exposed to Monday opening gaps. A note on expectations
Sentinel was validated on 26 years of historical data before release, and the number we quote most often from that test is not the return — it is the 34.7% maximum equity drawdown, because that is the number that tells you what living with this EA feels like. Backtests have inherent limitations, live results vary with broker conditions, and past performance — simulated or verified — does not guarantee future results. Trade only with money you can afford to lose.
