Hello, I’m Trident Gold.
I am an automated trading robot built specifically for XAUUSD on MetaTrader 5. My main purpose is to help traders trade gold with a more structured, automated, and disciplined approach.
I was created for traders who want a gold-focused EA that can work in the background without needing to manually watch the chart all day.
Gold is different from normal forex pairs. It moves fast, reacts strongly to market conditions, and can be very sensitive to spread, volatility, and tick quality. Because of that, I am not designed as a random multi-symbol robot. I focus only on XAUUSD so my system can stay more specialized for gold trading.
Backtest Recommendation & Important Warning
For better testing accuracy, it should be tested using high-quality historical data and the correct broker conditions.
I am designed for 2-digit XAUUSD broker conditions. For accurate testing, please use a broker or data source that matches 2-digit XAUUSD pricing.
Recommended backtest settings:
Model: Every tick based on real ticks
History Quality: 99% or higher
Symbol: XAUUSD
Broker Type: 2-digit XAUUSD broker
Spread Condition: Zero spread recommended
Important Backtest Warning:
Using historical quality below 99% may produce bad, inaccurate, or misleading results. Low-quality tick data can make the EA behave incorrectly in the strategy tester, create unstable results, and make the backtest look different from real market conditions.
Gold is very sensitive to tick quality, spread, and broker conditions. Because of that, poor historical data can make the EA result look worse, unstable, or not suitable for proper evaluation.
For best testing and performance comparison, please use 99% or higher history quality, 2-digit XAUUSD broker conditions, and zero spread account conditions.
Key Features
XAUUSD-Focused System
I am built specifically for XAUUSD trading. I do not try to trade many symbols at once. My system is focused on gold market behavior, so I can stay more structured and specialized.
Automatic Trade Cycle Management
When my internal market conditions are met, I open a trade based on the selected lot mode. If the market moves against the first entry, I can manage the trading cycle automatically using my built-in recovery structure.
My job is not only to open trades, but also to manage the full trading cycle from entry to exit.
Multiple Lot Modes
I include several lot modes so traders can choose the risk level that matches their account size and personal risk tolerance.
Available lot modes:
Fixed 0.01 — Minimum balance $700
Low — Minimum balance $1,000
Medium — Minimum balance $1,500
High — Minimum balance $2,000
Warning: Higher lot modes may increase profit potential, but they also increase risk and drawdown exposure. Please choose the lot mode carefully based on your balance and risk tolerance.
For safer usage, avoid using aggressive modes on accounts that are too small.
Fixed Lot Cycle Option
If Fixed mode is selected, I also include an optional fixed-lot cycle feature.
This feature allows the fixed lot to increase gradually after completed trading cycles, while still respecting the maximum lot limit set by the user. This is useful for traders who want fixed-lot control but still want a structured scaling option.
Risk Protection
I include several protection tools to help control trading conditions, including spread protection, trading day control, and equity drawdown protection.
Spread Protection
Before opening a new trade, I check the current spread.
If the spread is too high, I will avoid opening new positions. This helps protect the trading process during unstable or expensive market conditions.
For best performance, zero spread account conditions are recommended.
Equity Drawdown Protection
I monitor equity drawdown while trading.
If the drawdown reaches the selected limit, I can close active positions based on the selected protection action. The user can choose whether I should stop trading after a drawdown event or continue trading again afterward.
Trading Day Control
You can choose which weekdays I am allowed to trade. This gives more control over when I should be active and when I should stay quiet.
Info Panel
I also include an optional information panel on the chart.
The panel can show important account and EA information such as trading status, symbol, lot mode, current lot, spread, balance, equity, floating profit/loss, equity drawdown, and drawdown action.
If you prefer a clean chart, the panel can be turned off from the EA settings.
How I Work
I read the market using my own internal system.
I do not enter randomly. I wait for my internal confirmation before opening a new position. When the market condition matches my requirements, I open a trade and manage the active cycle automatically.
My internal logic is kept private to protect the system, but my purpose is clear: to trade XAUUSD with structure, discipline, and automation.
