Tired of indicators that spam your chart with false signals during choppy markets? I built AlgoMatrix HMA Cloud to solve exactly that problem.
This indicator uses a dual Hull Moving Average system (Fast + Slow HMA) to create a dynamic cloud that shows you the trend direction at a glance. When the trend is strong, you get clean entry signals. When the market is flat, the built-in filters keep you out of bad trades. Simple as that.
What makes this different from other HMA indicators?
Most HMA indicators just plot a line and call it a day. This one gives you a complete trading setup — entry, exit, stop loss, and three take profit levels — all calculated automatically. You don't need to figure out where to place your SL or TP. The indicator does it for you based on your preferred method (ATR, fixed pips, or percentage).
The real game-changer is the flat market filter. It uses ADX and cloud width analysis to detect when the market is ranging. During those periods, it simply won't give you signals. No more getting chopped up in sideways price action.

Dashboard Tabs:
Signal Tab — Shows current signal direction (Long/Short/No Signal), entry price, SL, TP1, TP2, TP3, risk-reward ratio, and signal time. Everything you need to take the trade.
Settings Tab — Change HMA periods, TP/SL mode, all multiplier values, toggle ADX filter and cloud width filter, adjust thresholds — all live without reopening the indicator. Changes apply instantly.
Stats Tab — Total signals, buy count, sell count, TP1 hit rate, SL hit rate, overall win rate with a color-coded progress bar.
Manual Tab — Quick reference guide built right into the indicator. Three pages covering signal logic, TP/SL modes, and filter settings.
How signals work:
A Buy signal fires when price breaks above the HMA cloud from below — meaning both the fast and slow HMA are below the candle close. A Sell signal is the opposite. Exit signals trigger when price crosses back through the cloud against your position, or when SL/TP3 is hit.
While a trade is active, the indicator will NOT generate new signals in the same direction or opposite direction. It waits until the current trade is closed (by exit signal, SL hit, or TP3 hit) before looking for the next setup. This prevents signal spam and keeps your chart clean.
Flat market protection:
ADX Filter — When the ADX value is below the threshold (default 20), the market lacks directional strength. Signals are suppressed.
Cloud Width Filter — When the gap between Fast and Slow HMA is too narrow relative to ATR, it means the moving averages are converging and there's no clear trend. Signals are suppressed.
Both filters can be toggled on/off and adjusted from the dashboard.
Recommended settings:
The default settings (Fast 9, Slow 21, ATR mode with 1.5x SL and 1/2/3x TP) work well on most pairs and timeframes. For scalping on M1-M5, you might want to reduce the HMA periods. For swing trading on H4-D1, increase them. The ATR-based TP/SL adapts automatically to volatility, so it works across different instruments without manual adjustment.
