History by Magic Number MT5

History by Magic Number MT5 is a utility that filters trading history based on a selected Magic Number. It’s especially useful on accounts where multiple EA strategies run simultaneously and you need to isolate the performance of a single strategy.

This tool is a non‑trading analytical Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5, designed to provide precise evaluation of trading performance associated with a specific Magic Number within a user‑defined time range. It does not interfere with live trading in any way—the utility does not trade.

How to Use

1. Attach the utility to any chart in MetaTrader 5
   (the symbol and timeframe are irrelevant).

2. In the EA settings window, set the input parameters:

   • Magic Number

   • Date range (From – To)

3. Click OK to start the utility.

4. On initialization:

   • The utility loads the account trade history for the selected date range.

   • It filters all trades by the specified Magic Number.

   • All calculations are performed once at startup.

5. The calculated statistics are displayed directly on the chart using the Comment panel.

6. The utility does not trade, does not open or close positions, and does not react to market ticks.
   It can be safely removed after reviewing the results.
