Gold Alcatraz Sentinel is an automated Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5, developed primarily for XAUUSD trading.
The system combines trend detection, retracement analysis and pending-order execution with automated position management. Its purpose is to wait for defined market conditions rather than continuously entering the market.
Trading approach
Gold Alcatraz Sentinel analyzes market direction using an ATR-based trend model.
When bullish conditions are detected, the EA tracks the recent market high and waits for a retracement. Once the required conditions are met, it can place a Buy Stop order above the tracked level.
During bearish conditions, the same process is applied in the opposite direction, using Sell Stop orders below the tracked market low.
This approach combines trend following with retracement and continuation-based entries.

The Martingale recovery feature is configurable and can be disabled. When enabled, position size can increase following a losing trade according to the selected multiplier and recovery limits.

Gold Alcatraz Sentinel is primarily designed around XAUUSD market behavior.
The EA analyzes its internal trend conditions independently of the chart timeframe used to attach the program. Its trend calculations use M15 market data.
Because symbol specifications, spreads, execution and volatility differ between brokers, results can also differ between trading environments.
Integrated information panel
An on-chart information panel provides a quick overview of the EA while it is running.
It displays information including account balance, equity, current trading volume, trade direction, recent trade result, recovery status and detected market trend.
Flexible configuration
Gold Alcatraz Sentinel can be adjusted according to different account sizes and trading preferences.
Users can configure entry distances, Stop Loss and Take Profit levels, trading volume, trailing behavior, breakeven management, partial closing and recovery settings.
Before using the Expert Advisor on a live account, users should test their selected configuration in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester and on a demo account under their broker's trading conditions.
