Set your risk as % of balance, % of equity or a fixed amount, drag the Stop Loss / Take Profit lines (or type the SL in points), and read the correct lot size for the symbol, the money at risk, the reward, R:R and the margin needed. Calculator only: it never places orders.

Sizing every trade by hand is slow and easy to get wrong, especially on gold, indices and JPY pairs where a point is worth different amounts. ClearSpec Risk & Lot Size Calculator does the maths for the chart symbol using the broker's own tick value, tick size, lot step and minimum / maximum lot.
Calculation
- Risk as % of balance, % of equity, or a fixed amount in account currency. Optional "Account size" input to plan with a different balance.
- Stop-loss from a draggable line or typed in points. Take-profit line at your default R multiple (or none).
- Entry at market price, or from a draggable entry line for pending orders.
- The lot is rounded down to the lot step, so the real risk never goes above your budget. If even the minimum lot risks more than planned, the panel tells you.
- Optional commission per lot is included in the risk.
- Shows direction, entry, stop, target (points and price), risk budget, lot size, real risk with that lot, reward at target, reward:risk, margin needed and free margin after the trade.
- Warns when the stop is closer than the broker's stops level or the margin is not enough.
Notes
- Indicator only: it does not open, change or close trades, so it is safe to run next to any EA.
- Values come from your broker's symbol settings, so the terminal must be connected. Offline it shows "No symbol data yet".
- No DLLs, no web requests.
- It is a calculator. It gives no trading signals and no guarantee of profit.
