Trade with structure. Adapt to the market. Stay in control.
TickHunter Universal v4.06 is a feature-rich Expert Advisor (EA) for MetaTrader 5, designed to automate trading across Forex, metals, cryptocurrencies, and supported synthetic indices. Combining rapid scalping, trend-following signals, breakout and momentum analysis, mean-reversion logic, and optional grid recovery, it offers traders a flexible trading framework with configurable execution and risk-management controls.
Built for traders who want more control over their automated strategies, TickHunter Universal integrates market analysis, trade execution, position management, and on-chart performance monitoring into one configurable system.
Key Features
1. Multi-Strategy Trading Engine
TickHunter combines several trading approaches within one EA:
-
Rapid scalping for frequent, short-term trading opportunities.
-
Trend-following entries using moving averages and RSI confirmation.
-
Breakout and momentum analysis to identify potential directional moves.
-
Mean-reversion logic using Bollinger Bands and RSI.
-
Optional grid recovery with configurable recovery levels and basket profit targets.
Enable or disable supported strategy modules according to your trading preferences and testing results.
2. Broad Market Compatibility
Designed to adapt to different instrument specifications, TickHunter supports Forex pairs, precious metals, cryptocurrencies, and supported synthetic indices. Symbol-adaptation features help adjust trade distances, stop levels, slippage allowances, and other execution parameters to the instrument being traded.
Synthetic-index support includes automatic symbol recognition and ATR-based trade distances, with configurable handling for instruments such as Step, Volatility, Boom, Crash, Jump, and other supported index families.
3. Intelligent M1 Signal Filtering
The rapid trading engine uses one-minute market signals and configurable EMA trend confirmation. It can require minimum EMA separation, consistent directional alignment, and adequate market volatility before allowing entries.
When the moving averages are too close, flat, or tangled, the EA can identify a no-trade zone. In automatic direction mode, it avoids maintaining buy and sell positions simultaneously on the same symbol and confirms the closure of opposing positions before reversing direction.
4. Flexible Take-Profit and Stop-Loss Controls
Configure trade exits according to your preferred approach. Available options include money-based profit targets for rapid trades, point-based targets, ATR-based stop-loss distances, trailing stops, and conventional take-profit and stop-loss settings in the relevant trading modes.
Additional controls can pause new entries after a losing exit, limit how long a trade remains open, and regulate the spacing and timing of new entries.
5. Built-In Risk Management
TickHunter provides configurable controls to help manage exposure and trading activity, including:
-
Daily loss limits with automatic position closure and a trading lock.
-
Daily profit targets with configurable profit calculation and position-closing behaviour.
-
Equity drawdown monitoring.
-
Maximum open-position limits.
-
Spread, commission-to-target, and volatility filters.
-
Optional rollover protection and trading-session restrictions.
-
Configurable trade cooldowns and safeguards against repeated failed requests.
These controls help traders define operational boundaries. They do not eliminate market risk or guarantee that losses will remain within a specified amount during fast markets or execution gaps.
6. Automated Execution Safeguards
The EA includes trade-execution handling for broker stop-distance requirements, price and volume normalization, slippage adaptation, rejected-order backoff, and position-state confirmation. It also incorporates handling for different account execution conditions, including netting-aware position management.
These mechanisms are designed to improve execution reliability, although actual results depend on broker conditions, liquidity, spreads, and platform connectivity.
7. On-Chart Dashboard and Visual Tools
Monitor trading activity directly from your MT5 chart with an integrated dashboard and configurable chart appearance. Additional tools include:
-
Closed-trade statistics and profit/loss monitoring.
-
Automatically calculated support and resistance zones.
-
Configurable bullish and bearish candlestick colours.
-
TickHunter logo watermark.
-
Automatic chart layout adjustments.
-
Diagnostic logging to help explain why a trade may be blocked.
Designed for Flexible Configuration
Whether you prefer rapid scalping, directional trading, breakout strategies, mean reversion, or optional recovery techniques, TickHunter Universal gives you a broad range of adjustable parameters in a single EA.
Its default settings provide a starting configuration, not a guarantee of suitability for every account, broker, instrument, or market condition. Traders should configure the EA carefully and validate their settings before deployment.
