Gold Fractal Core — a fully mechanical fractal breakout EA for XAUUSD (GOLD) on M5. No grid, no martingale, no averaging. One position at a time, and every trade is opened with a stop loss and a take profit.
Price: 99 USD for the first 10 copies, then 149 USD for the next 10, then 199 USD.
How it works
- Entry: the M5 close breaks the latest confirmed fractal for the first time.
- Trend filter: buy only when price is at least 0.30% above the M15 EMA75, sell only when at least 0.76% below it.
- H4 ADX between 15 and 50 (skips dead and overheated markets).
- Signal bar must have above-average tick volume and a range of at least 1.2 x ATR.
- Anti-chase filter: skips late breakouts after an extended run, a climax bar or many same-direction bars.
- Skips a "choppy but moving" zone measured by the efficiency ratio.
Exits
- Stop loss beyond the opposite fractal, set to 1.5% of price.
- Take profit 2R for buys, 1.5R for sells.
- Trailing stop from +1R (10 USD distance), profit lock from +1.35R.
- Early exit when the breakout clearly fails (two closes back inside the level).
- Daily loss limit, losing-streak stop and Friday close.
Backtest (for reference only)
XAUUSD M5, 2020.01.01 - 2026.09.29, 1-minute OHLC, fixed 0.01 lot, JPY account: 450 trades, profit factor 1.64, win rate 45.8%, maximum 8 losses in a row, maximum balance drawdown 35,226 JPY. Every calendar year in this test was positive (profit factor 1.23 to 1.96), but 2020-2022 were slow. Buys are much stronger than sells (profit factor 1.94 vs 1.17). Because the stop loss is a percentage of price, the profit and loss per trade grow as the gold price rises. Past results do not guarantee future results. Recommended use
- Symbol: XAUUSD / GOLD. Timeframe: M5.
- Default lot: fixed 0.01. Start small, ideally on a demo or cent account.
- Low-spread account and a VPS are recommended.

Notes
- Symbol suffixes (XAUUSDm, GOLD# etc.) are fine. MaxSpreadUSD is in US dollars of gold price.
- FridayCloseHour uses your broker's server time.
- Use a different Magic number for each chart.
