SIZE FROM THE STOP. LOCK THE DAY.
Most losing days do not start with a bad setup. They start with a lot size picked by feel, then a second trade to win the first one back. ATS Risk Desk sizes every trade from your stop, sends it in one click, manages it, and locks you out when the day's limit is gone.
HOW IT WORKS
- Pick LONG or SHORT. A stop line and a target line appear on the chart. Drag them.
- Lots = your risk (percent of balance, percent of equity, or a fixed sum) divided by the stop distance, floored to the lot step, never rounded up.
- The panel shows what that lot really loses, not the budget you asked for.
- The target follows your stop at the R you set until you drag it yourself.
- Boxed tags on the right edge show STOP and TARGET with the money at stake.
- SEND arms on the first click and confirms on the second, so a slip of the finger sends nothing (optional).
THE PLAN
Entry, stop and target with their distances, lots, risk in money and in percent, reward and R:R, and how much of your stop the spread eats.
MANAGE
- Break-even (with an optional lock), partial close (the percent you set) and close all, on every position of the symbol, yours or opened elsewhere
- Optional auto break-even at a chosen R, and an optional auto trailing stop
- Open trades: count, floating result, and the money you lose if every stop is hit. Positions without a stop are flagged
- A cap on the whole book: a new trade is refused if open risk plus this trade would go over your limit
THE LOCK
- Daily loss limit: a percent of the day's opening balance, counted on the whole account, open trades included
- Maximum trades per day
- Prop firm floor: an overall maximum loss from your starting balance
- When a limit is hit, SEND turns into LOCKED until the next server day. The rule that hit is written on the panel, and a popup tells you. It survives a restart of the terminal
- Optional: close every open position on the account at that moment
THE PANEL
Header with symbol, timeframe and a spread check. Dark, light and automatic themes, draggable, sharp on high resolution monitors. If the chart is too short for everything, it drops detail instead of overlapping text.
WORKS ON
Any symbol, hedging or netting accounts. Nothing here decides what to trade: no signals, no strategy.
GOOD TO KNOW (honest limits)
- The lock blocks the SEND button and, if you switch it on, closes positions. It cannot stop an order you place from the MT5 order window or another program. It is a seatbelt, not a guarantee.
- Stops and targets go to the broker with the order; the broker's minimum distance and freeze level apply.
- Distances are in price units (on gold, 3.0 means 3 USD).
- Test it on a demo account first. In the Strategy Tester use the visual mode: the panel works there.
- Trading involves risk. This tool helps you size and control risk; it does not remove it.
