My Breakout System is an automated algorithmic trading system engineered for MetaTrader 5, developed specifically for volatile instruments with a focus on Gold (XAUUSD) on the M5 timeframe.
The system relies on objective technical breakout mechanics, combining fractal support and resistance levels with macro trend alignment and structured risk parameters. Every position is opened with a predefined hard Stop Loss and Take Profit to ensure controlled risk exposure on every single trade.
The Expert Advisor does not employ dangerous methods such as grid, martingale, or unhedged cost-averaging. It is fully compatible with both Netting and Hedging account modes across regulated brokers.
CORE TRADING MECHANICS

- Fractal Structure Breakouts: Detects established market swing highs and lows, entering when momentum breaks beyond dynamic support and resistance thresholds.
- Higher Timeframe Trend Bias (H1 200 EMA): Evaluates the dominant higher timeframe direction. Long breakouts are only permitted when price trades above the trend filter; short breakouts are only permitted when price trades below.
- Smart Session Liquidity Window: Restricts trade execution to active market sessions (typically London and New York overlaps), avoiding illiquid consolidation and overnight spread rollover spikes.
- Volatility-Adjusted Geometry (ATR): Stop Loss and Take Profit distances dynamically adapt to current market volatility via configurable Average True Range (ATR) multipliers.
- Early Breakeven Protection: Automatically shifts the Stop Loss into positive territory once the position reaches a defined profit milestone, protecting accumulated gains.
- Consecutive Loss Cooldown: Automatically pauses new trade execution for a configurable cooldown period if consecutive losses occur, avoiding sideways chop and false breakouts.
- Daily Drawdown Safety Cap: Features a built-in equity and balance loss ceiling to maintain disciplined account preservation.

RECOMMENDED SETUP & USAGE
