Um Sistema de Proteção Unificado

O DrawDown Limiter v5.0 introduz uma resposta de proteção unificada. Dependendo da sua configuração, quando uma condição de proteção é acionada, o EA pode:

  • Ativar um sinal compartilhado de bloqueio de novas entradas para Expert Advisors compatíveis.
  • Isolar os gráficos locais das estratégias antes de fechar operações.
  • Excluir ordens pendentes protegidas.
  • Fechar posições protegidas ou preservar apenas a exposição existente antes da ativação da proteção.
  • Continuar removendo novas exposições enquanto a proteção permanecer ativa.
  • Colocar em quarentena novos gráficos de estratégias abertos durante a proteção.
  • Restaurar automaticamente os gráficos capturados quando todas as condições de proteção forem removidas com segurança.

O DrawDown Limiter v5.0 pode ativar a proteção por vários motivos independentes:

Várias causas de proteção podem estar ativas ao mesmo tempo. O EA não desativa a proteção simplesmente porque uma condição deixou de existir. A proteção completa permanece ativa até que todas as causas de proteção ativas tenham sido devidamente eliminadas.

Drawdown Diário — Escolha Como Seu Risco é Realmente Calculado

Diferentes programas de trading e regras de conta podem calcular o drawdown diário de maneiras diferentes. Por isso, o DrawDown Limiter v5.0 separa a referência de risco diário do método utilizado para medir a perda atual.

Opções de referência de risco diário:

  • Depósito Inicial
  • Balance da conta no início do período
  • Equity da conta no início do período
  • O maior valor entre Equity ou Balance

Métodos de acompanhamento do drawdown diário:

  • Open And Closed Positions — combina o P/L negativo das operações fechadas desde o último reset com o P/L flutuante atual.
  • Start-Of-Range Equity — mede a queda em relação ao Equity registrado quando o período de proteção atual começou.
  • High-Water Equity — acompanha o maior Equity alcançado durante o período e mede o drawdown a partir desse pico.

Swap e comissão também podem ser incluídos nos cálculos quando necessário.

Essa flexibilidade permite configurar o DrawDown Limiter de acordo com a fórmula de drawdown que você realmente precisa, em vez de obrigar todas as contas a utilizar o mesmo método de cálculo.

Ciclo Flexível de Reset Diário

Um dia de trading não precisa necessariamente ser reiniciado à meia-noite no horário do seu computador ou mesmo à meia-noite no horário do servidor da corretora.

O DrawDown Limiter pode definir o período de proteção utilizando:

  • Daily Bar Open
  • Broker Server Time
  • Configured Time Zone

O modo Configured Time Zone permite utilizar um deslocamento UTC padrão fixo, juntamente com regras opcionais de horário de verão da Europa ou dos Estados Unidos.

O período selecionado controla o reset dos cálculos de drawdown diário, metas diárias, estado de breakeven, programações e contadores de posições do período.

Chart Vault — Isole, Proteja e Restaure Suas Estratégias

Uma das principais novidades do DrawDown Limiter v5.0 é o Chart Vault.

Quando a proteção de gráficos está habilitada, o DrawDown Limiter pode capturar os gráficos elegíveis das estratégias antes de fechá-los. As informações salvas incluem símbolo, timeframe, configuração do gráfico e os dados do template necessários para reabrir o gráfico posteriormente.

Durante um evento de proteção ativo, o Chart Vault pode:

  • Salvar os gráficos elegíveis das estratégias.
  • Fechar esses gráficos antes que as posições protegidas sejam fechadas.
  • Manter o controlador DrawDown Limiter em execução.
  • Colocar em quarentena novos gráficos de estratégias enquanto a proteção permanecer ativa.
  • Acompanhar gráficos capturados, fechados, restaurados e aqueles cuja restauração falhou.

Com Close + Restore Charts, os gráficos salvos podem ser reabertos automaticamente quando todas as causas de proteção forem eliminadas, o novo período for válido e o sistema confirmar que a restauração é segura.

Também está disponível o modo Manual Reopen caso você prefira decidir manualmente quando os gráficos capturados devem ser restaurados.

Escolha o Que Acontece com as Posições Existentes

A proteção nem sempre precisa significar fechar absolutamente todas as posições. A versão v5.0 oferece dois modos principais de resposta às operações:

  • Close Protected Trades — fecha repetidamente as posições e remove as ordens pendentes dentro do escopo configurado enquanto a proteção permanecer ativa.
  • Keep Pre-Existing Exposure — preserva a exposição existente no momento em que a proteção foi ativada, enquanto exclui ordens pendentes e impede que exposição adicional seja mantida.

Isso permite que restrições temporárias, como notícias ou horários programados, protejam contra novas exposições, ao mesmo tempo em que uma posição já existente pode continuar sendo gerenciada quando suas regras de trading permitirem.

Meta de Lucro Diário

O DrawDown Limiter não se limita à proteção contra perdas.

Uma Daily Profit Target pode ser definida como:

  • Uma porcentagem da referência diária, ou
  • Um valor fixo na moeda da conta.

Quando a meta é atingida, você pode escolher entre:

  • Notify Only, ou
  • Activate Protection Until Reset.

Essa função pode ser utilizada para impor uma meta diária de trading e interromper novas operações assim que o resultado desejado para o período atual for alcançado.

Proteção de Breakeven

A versão v5.0 também introduz a Breakeven Protection.

Você pode configurar um resultado diário positivo a partir do qual a proteção de breakeven será armada. Se posteriormente o resultado das operações retornar ao nível de equilíbrio, o DrawDown Limiter ativará a resposta de proteção configurada.

Por exemplo, o sistema pode armar a proteção após um início de dia lucrativo e proteger a conta caso todo esse lucro acumulado seja posteriormente devolvido ao mercado.

Proteção de Lucro Máximo da Conta

Um nível separado de Maximum Account Profit pode ser configurado como uma meta global para toda a conta.

Quando o nível de lucro configurado for atingido, o DrawDown Limiter ativará a resposta de proteção completa e impedirá que o trading continue dentro dessa configuração.

Essa função é independente da Daily Profit Target e foi desenvolvida para objetivos aplicáveis à conta inteira, e não apenas a um único dia de trading.

Proteção durante Notícias

O DrawDown Limiter v5.0 pode ativar automaticamente a proteção em torno de eventos econômicos selecionados.

Dependendo da plataforma e da configuração, as fontes de notícias compatíveis incluem MQL5 Economic Calendar, Forex Factory e Investing.com.

A proteção de notícias pode ser filtrada utilizando:

  • Moedas selecionadas
  • Eventos de baixo, médio e alto impacto
  • Palavras-chave de eventos a serem incluídos
  • Palavras-chave de eventos a serem excluídos
  • Minutos antes de um evento
  • Minutos após um evento
  • Proteção durante feriados
  • Proteção durante eventos de dia inteiro

Quando uma restrição de notícias que corresponda aos critérios configurados for ativada, ela utilizará o mesmo sistema configurável de proteção de operações e gráficos das demais condições de proteção completa.

Se a proteção de notícias estiver habilitada e a fonte configurada não puder fornecer dados confiáveis, o DrawDown Limiter utilizará uma abordagem fail-closed em vez de assumir que é seguro operar.

Proteção Programada

O DrawDown Limiter pode ativar automaticamente a proteção em um horário programado de acordo com o servidor da corretora.

A programação pode ser executada:

  • Todos os dias, ou
  • Em um dia específico da semana.

Depois de acionada, a resposta de proteção selecionada permanecerá ativa até o início do próximo período diário válido.

Isso pode ser útil quando sua estratégia deve interromper o trading antes de um período específico do mercado, rollover, fim de semana ou outro horário predefinido.

Zona de Segurança de Rollover

Um dia de trading lucrativo pode ocultar uma grande perda flutuante que se torna perigosa imediatamente após o reset diário.

A Rollover Security Zone foi desenvolvida especificamente para lidar com essa situação.

Durante o número configurado de minutos antes do próximo reset diário, o DrawDown Limiter pode impor uma perda flutuante máxima expressa como porcentagem do limite de risco diário.

Se a perda flutuante atingir esse limite de rollover, a proteção completa será acionada antes que a conta entre no próximo período de trading.

Proteção contra Overtrading — Sem Fechar as Operações Permitidas

O DrawDown Limiter oferece dois controles independentes sobre o número de posições:

  • Número Máximo de Posições Abertas Simultaneamente
  • Número Máximo de Posições Abertas durante o Período Atual

Diferentemente de um evento de proteção completa por drawdown, a proteção por quantidade de posições utiliza um sistema de excess-only control.

As posições que já estiverem dentro do limite permitido permanecerão abertas e os gráficos das estratégias continuarão disponíveis. Apenas a exposição adicional ou excedente será removida, enquanto as posições válidas poderão continuar sendo gerenciadas.

As ordens pendentes que possam fazer com que a exposição ultrapasse o limite permitido também podem ser excluídas.

Alertas de Risco para Novas Operações

O DrawDown Limiter pode analisar novas posições detectadas e fornecer alertas informativos quando:

  • Uma operação não possui um Stop Loss visível.
  • O risco estimado ultrapassa uma porcentagem configurada do Balance.
  • O risco estimado ultrapassa uma porcentagem configurada do Equity.
  • O risco estimado ultrapassa um valor monetário fixo configurado.

Essas verificações são apenas alertas. Elas não modificam a operação nem adicionam automaticamente um Stop Loss.

Proteja Toda a Conta ou Estratégias Individuais

O DrawDown Limiter oferece três escopos de monitoramento:

  • All Trades
  • One EA Magic Number
  • Multiple EA Magic Numbers

Isso permite criar uma estrutura de proteção de portfólio em várias camadas.

Por exemplo, uma instância principal do DrawDown Limiter pode proteger toda a conta, enquanto instâncias adicionais monitoram orçamentos de risco menores atribuídos a Expert Advisors individuais ou a grupos de estratégias.

O controlador principal da conta continua controlando todo o portfólio mesmo quando limites separados são configurados para estratégias individuais.

O painel de proteção também fornece controles operacionais, incluindo:

  • PAUSE para proteções temporárias e verificações informativas que possam ser pausadas.
  • CLOSE ALL para realizar um fechamento emergencial único da exposição gerenciada.
  • Ajuste temporário da porcentagem de drawdown diário.
  • Ajuste temporário do número máximo de posições do período.
  • Seleção da ação sobre as operações.
  • Seleção da ação sobre os gráficos.
  • Ativação ou desativação de notificações Push e Email.
  • Controle da proteção automática programada.
  • Restauração manual dos gráficos quando aplicável.

As alterações temporárias realizadas pelo painel não substituem silenciosamente os parâmetros salvos do EA. Ao recarregar o EA, as configurações temporárias retornam aos valores definidos nos inputs, enquanto o estado persistente de proteção permanece preservado.

Estado de Proteção Persistente

Um evento de proteção não é cancelado simplesmente removendo e adicionando novamente o EA ou reiniciando o MetaTrader.

O DrawDown Limiter preserva informações importantes sobre o estado da proteção e o período atual, de forma que normalmente não é possível contornar uma restrição ativa simplesmente reiniciando o EA.

Se as informações de persistência ou de transição entre períodos se tornarem inválidas, o sistema foi desenvolvido para utilizar uma abordagem fail closed e manter a proteção até que um estado válido possa ser recuperado.

Um procedimento protegido de Start Fresh está disponível quando você deseja descartar intencionalmente um estado anterior do limiter e inicializar um período de proteção completamente novo.

Integração para Desenvolvedores

O DrawDown Limiter pode publicar uma Global Variable compartilhada do MetaTrader que Expert Advisors compatíveis podem verificar antes de tentar abrir uma nova operação.

Os desenvolvedores podem integrar diretamente esse mecanismo de bloqueio de entradas aos seus próprios EAs, permitindo que suas estratégias cooperem com o DrawDown Limiter em vez de esperar que uma nova posição seja aberta para que posteriormente o DrawDown Limiter a detecte e remova.

Suporte a FIFO

Para contas que exigem o cumprimento das regras FIFO, o DrawDown Limiter oferece modos configuráveis de fechamento FIFO, incluindo suporte a fechamentos parciais quando aplicável.

Importante — Entenda o Modelo de Proteção

O DrawDown Limiter é um controlador MetaTrader executado no lado do cliente.

Ele observa o estado visível para o terminal e, em seguida, aplica a resposta de proteção configurada. Ele não pode obrigar a corretora a rejeitar uma ordem antes que ela seja aceita pela corretora.

Operações enviadas por um aplicativo móvel, Web Terminal, API, serviço de sinais, copiador de operações, outro terminal MetaTrader ou outro sistema externo não podem ser controladas antes de se tornarem visíveis no terminal onde o DrawDown Limiter está sendo executado.

O EA também não pode atuar enquanto o terminal MetaTrader estiver fechado, desconectado, travado ou impossibilitado de executar operações.

Por esse motivo, configure uma margem de segurança adequada entre os limites do DrawDown Limiter e qualquer limite externo rígido. Latência de execução, spread, slippage, comissão, swap e movimentos rápidos do mercado podem afetar o preço final e o tempo de fechamento.

  1. Execute o DrawDown Limiter em um gráfico dedicado.
  2. Utilize o escopo All Trades para proteção completa da conta.
  3. Configure o reset diário e o método de cálculo do drawdown de acordo com as regras reais da sua conta.
  4. Utilize Close Protected Trades quando for necessário remover a exposição.
  5. Utilize Close + Restore Charts quando as estratégias automatizadas locais precisarem ser isoladas durante a proteção.
  6. Configure uma margem de segurança abaixo de qualquer limite externo máximo de perda.

I've been running v5.0 on a prop account. The name makes it sound like a simple drawdown counter — it isn't. Nothing else in this class on MQL5 comes close. Your firm's formula, not a generic one. Every prop firm calculates daily loss differently: from the initial deposit, from the balance at the start of the day, from the intraday equity high. Here the reference base and the measurement method are separate inputs, so you can reproduce your own rules exactly. The documentation includes ready-made presets for several firms. Your EA can't reopen what was just closed. The sequence is thought through: pending orders are deleted first, then the strategy chart is closed along with the EA, and only then the positions. Charts come back automatically once protection clears — after a short news window, right when it ends. No DLL — works on MQL5 VPS. DLL imports are not allowed on MQL5 VPS, so tools that kill algo trading through external libraries are useless there. This one works through the platform itself. No separate Windows VPS needed. The midnight zone. You close the day in profit, but one position is sitting in the red. At the reset your profit resets to zero and that floating loss eats straight into the new day's limit — a breach at 00:01 after a clean day. The tool closes such a position before that happens. News. The window before and after an event is configurable; I run three minutes on each side. Filters by currency, impact level and keywords. If the calendar feed is unavailable, entries are blocked rather than assumed safe. A restart won't bypass it. Triggered protection survives detaching the EA and restarting the terminal. Exactly what you want during an evaluation. Buffers instead of exact numbers. The presets trigger slightly before the published limits: by the time the terminal sees the loss and sends the close, you've added latency, spread and slippage. That buffer is the difference between "almost made it" and an account that's still alive. The documentation covers every input and the common failure cases, and the author is responsive and genuinely improves the product based on user feedback. A versatile tool for beginners and experienced traders alike — from strict prop rules to plain discipline on your own account. Set it up once and you won't want to trade without it. I've been running v5.0 on a prop account. The name makes it sound like a simple drawdown counter — it isn't. Nothing else in this class on MQL5 comes close. Your firm's formula, not a generic one. Every prop firm calculates daily loss differently: from the initial deposit, from the balance at the start of the day, from the intraday equity high. Here the reference base and the measurement method are separate inputs, so you can reproduce your own rules exactly. The documentation includes ready-made presets for several firms. Your EA can't reopen what was just closed. The sequence is thought through: pending orders are deleted first, then the strategy chart is closed along with the EA, and only then the positions. Charts come back automatically once protection clears — after a short news window, right when it ends. No DLL — works on MQL5 VPS. DLL imports are not allowed on MQL5 VPS, so tools that kill algo trading through external libraries are useless there. This one works through the platform itself. No separate Windows VPS needed. The midnight zone. You close the day in profit, but one position is sitting in the red. At the reset your profit resets to zero and that floating loss eats straight into the new day's limit — a breach at 00:01 after a clean day. The tool closes such a position before that happens. News. The window before and after an event is configurable; I run three minutes on each side. Filters by currency, impact level and keywords. If the calendar feed is unavailable, entries are blocked rather than assumed safe. A restart won't bypass it. Triggered protection survives detaching the EA and restarting the terminal. Exactly what you want during an evaluation. Buffers instead of exact numbers. The presets trigger slightly before the published limits: by the time the terminal sees the loss and sends the close, you've added latency, spread and slippage. That buffer is the difference between "almost made it" and an account that's still alive. The documentation covers every input and the common failure cases, and the author is responsive and genuinely improves the product based on user feedback. A versatile tool for beginners and experienced traders alike — from strict prop rules to plain discipline on your own account. Set it up once and you won't want to trade without it. Haven't used DrawDown Limiter on a live account yet, but it seems to be working great! It seems reliable and trustworthy. Lio has obviously worked on it a lot and thought about all scenarios and different prop firm requirements. The EA is highly customizable to fit any needs. Yet simple to understand and intuitive. Documentation for it is great as well, complete with videos and FAQ. Like it was mentioned, I got the free Algo Trading Disabler for free right away. The communication with Lio was really good and he genuinely seems to care and take suggestions into account. All in all, you can confidently buy this EA if you're considering it.
