DrawDown Limiter v5.0은 통합된 보호 대응 시스템을 제공합니다. 설정에 따라 보호 조건이 트리거되면 EA는 다음 작업을 수행할 수 있습니다.

일일 드로다운 — 실제 리스크 계산 방식을 선택하세요

거래 프로그램과 계좌 규칙에 따라 일일 드로다운 계산 방식은 다를 수 있습니다. 따라서 DrawDown Limiter v5.0은 일일 리스크 기준값과 현재 손실을 측정하는 방식을 분리하여 설정할 수 있습니다.

일일 리스크 기준 옵션:

일일 드로다운 추적 방식:

Open And Closed Positions — 마지막 리셋 이후 종료된 거래의 마이너스 P/L과 현재 Floating P/L을 합산합니다.
Start-Of-Range Equity — 현재 보호 구간 시작 시 기록된 Equity로부터의 하락폭을 측정합니다.
High-Water Equity — 해당 구간에서 기록된 최고 Equity를 추적하고 그 최고점에서부터의 드로다운을 측정합니다.

필요한 경우 Swap과 Commission도 계산에 포함할 수 있습니다.

이러한 유연성을 통해 모든 계좌에 동일한 계산 방식을 적용하는 대신 실제로 필요한 드로다운 계산 방식에 맞춰 DrawDown Limiter를 설정할 수 있습니다.

유연한 일일 리셋 주기

거래일은 반드시 사용자의 컴퓨터 시간 기준 자정이나 브로커 서버 시간 기준 자정에 리셋되는 것은 아닙니다.

Chart Vault — 전략을 격리하고 보호하며 복원

DrawDown Limiter v5.0의 주요 신규 기능 중 하나는 Chart Vault입니다.

차트 보호가 활성화되어 있으면 DrawDown Limiter는 대상 전략 차트를 닫기 전에 해당 차트를 저장할 수 있습니다. 저장되는 정보에는 심볼, 타임프레임, 차트 설정 및 나중에 차트를 다시 열기 위해 필요한 템플릿 정보가 포함됩니다.

기존 포지션의 처리 방식을 선택하세요

보호가 항상 모든 포지션을 종료해야 한다는 의미는 아닙니다. v5.0에서는 두 가지 주요 거래 대응 모드를 제공합니다.

Close Protected Trades — 보호가 활성화된 동안 설정된 범위 내의 포지션을 반복적으로 종료하고 대기 주문을 삭제합니다.
Keep Pre-Existing Exposure — 보호가 시작되기 전에 존재하던 익스포저를 유지하면서 대기 주문을 삭제하고 추가적인 신규 익스포저가 유지되는 것을 방지합니다.

이를 통해 뉴스나 일정과 같은 일시적인 제한 상황에서 신규 익스포저는 차단하면서도, 거래 규칙에서 허용하는 경우 기존 포지션은 계속 원래 전략에 의해 관리되도록 할 수 있습니다.

일일 수익 목표

DrawDown Limiter는 손실 보호만을 위한 도구가 아닙니다.

Daily Profit Target은 다음 중 하나로 설정할 수 있습니다.

목표에 도달하면 다음 중 하나를 선택할 수 있습니다.

Activate Protection Until Reset

이 기능을 사용하면 일일 거래 목표를 설정하고 현재 구간에서 원하는 결과에 도달한 후 추가 거래를 중단할 수 있습니다.

Breakeven 보호

v5.0은 Breakeven Protection도 제공합니다.

Breakeven 보호가 준비 상태가 되는 양의 일일 수익 수준을 설정할 수 있습니다. 이후 거래 결과가 다시 Breakeven 수준으로 내려오면 DrawDown Limiter가 설정된 보호 대응을 활성화합니다.

예를 들어 거래일 초반에 일정 수준의 수익을 달성한 후 보호가 준비 상태가 되고, 이후 그 누적 수익을 모두 반납하게 되면 계좌를 자동으로 보호할 수 있습니다.

최대 계좌 수익 보호

전체 계좌의 목표로 별도의 Maximum Account Profit 수준을 설정할 수 있습니다.

설정된 계좌 수익 수준에 도달하면 DrawDown Limiter는 전체 보호 대응을 활성화하고 해당 설정 하에서의 추가 거래를 중단합니다.

이 기능은 Daily Profit Target과 독립적으로 작동하며, 단일 거래일이 아닌 전체 계좌에 적용되는 목표를 위한 기능입니다.

뉴스 보호

DrawDown Limiter v5.0은 선택한 경제 이벤트 전후에 자동으로 보호를 활성화할 수 있습니다.

플랫폼 및 설정에 따라 지원되는 뉴스 소스에는 MQL5 Economic Calendar, Forex Factory 및 Investing.com이 포함됩니다.

뉴스 보호가 활성화되어 있고 설정된 소스에서 신뢰할 수 있는 데이터를 제공하지 못하는 경우 DrawDown Limiter는 거래가 안전하다고 가정하지 않고 fail-closed 방식으로 동작합니다.

DrawDown Limiter는 설정된 브로커 서버 시간에 자동으로 보호를 활성화할 수 있습니다.

예약은 다음과 같이 실행할 수 있습니다.

한 번 트리거되면 선택한 보호 대응은 다음 정상적인 일일 거래 구간이 시작될 때까지 활성 상태를 유지합니다.

특정 시장 시간대, Rollover, 주말 또는 사전에 지정한 시간 이전에 전략의 거래를 중단해야 할 때 유용합니다.

Rollover Security Zone

수익이 발생한 거래일이라도 큰 Floating Loss가 숨겨져 있을 수 있으며, 일일 리셋 직후 이 손실이 위험한 수준이 될 수 있습니다.

Rollover Security Zone은 이러한 상황을 처리하기 위해 설계되었습니다.

다음 일일 리셋 전 설정된 시간 동안 DrawDown Limiter는 일일 리스크 허용 한도의 백분율로 최대 Floating Loss를 제한할 수 있습니다.

Floating Loss가 설정된 Rollover 허용 한도에 도달하면 계좌가 다음 거래 구간으로 넘어가기 전에 전체 보호가 활성화됩니다.

과도한 거래 보호 — 허용된 거래는 종료하지 않습니다

DrawDown Limiter는 포지션 수와 관련해 두 가지 독립적인 제한을 제공합니다.

현재 구간에서 오픈 가능한 최대 포지션 수

전체 드로다운 보호 이벤트와 달리 포지션 수 보호는 excess-only control 방식을 사용합니다.

허용 한도 내에 있는 포지션은 계속 유지되며 전략 차트도 계속 사용할 수 있습니다. 추가되거나 초과된 익스포저만 제거되고 정상 범위 내의 포지션은 계속 관리될 수 있습니다.

허용된 익스포저를 초과할 가능성이 있는 대기 주문도 삭제할 수 있습니다.

신규 거래 리스크 경고

DrawDown Limiter는 새로 감지된 포지션을 검사하고 다음 상황에서 경고를 제공할 수 있습니다.

거래에 확인 가능한 Stop Loss가 없는 경우.
예상 리스크가 설정된 Balance 비율을 초과하는 경우.
예상 리스크가 설정된 Equity 비율을 초과하는 경우.
예상 리스크가 설정된 고정 금액을 초과하는 경우.

이 기능은 경고만 제공합니다. 거래를 수정하거나 Stop Loss를 자동으로 추가하지 않습니다.

대시보드에서 임시로 변경한 설정은 저장된 EA 입력값을 자동으로 덮어쓰지 않습니다. EA를 다시 로드하면 임시 설정은 입력값으로 돌아가지만 지속형 보호 상태는 유지됩니다.

지속형 보호 상태

EA를 제거한 뒤 다시 추가하거나 MetaTrader를 재시작하는 것만으로 보호 이벤트가 해제되지는 않습니다.

DrawDown Limiter는 중요한 보호 상태와 현재 거래 구간 정보를 저장하므로 일반적으로 EA를 재시작하는 것만으로 활성화된 제한을 우회할 수 없습니다.

저장 상태 또는 거래 구간 전환 정보가 유효하지 않은 경우 시스템은 fail closed 방식으로 동작하며 유효한 상태가 복구될 때까지 보호를 유지합니다.

기존 Limiter 상태를 의도적으로 폐기하고 완전히 새로운 보호 구간을 초기화해야 할 경우 보호된 Start Fresh 절차를 사용할 수 있습니다.

개발자 통합

DrawDown Limiter는 호환되는 Expert Advisor가 신규 거래를 시도하기 전에 확인할 수 있는 공유 MetaTrader Global Variable을 생성할 수 있습니다.

중요 — 보호 모델 이해하기

DrawDown Limiter는 클라이언트 측 MetaTrader 컨트롤러입니다.

터미널에서 확인 가능한 상태를 모니터링한 다음 설정된 보호 대응을 실행합니다. 브로커가 주문을 접수하기 전에 해당 주문을 강제로 거부하도록 만들 수는 없습니다.

I’ve been using the Draw Down Limiter for quite some time now, and it’s been the only system that’s allowed me to pass the prop challenges. Yesterday I downloaded the new version and couldn’t get it set up correctly. I received incredible support from Lionel, who always responded very quickly. He even sent me a video to better explain how the new interface works (by the way, the new graphical interface is beautiful—and I say this as a professional graphic designer!). I recommend this tool to anyone who, like me, needs more discipline. The urge to rush is the main cause of failure. I've been running v5.0 on a prop account. The name makes it sound like a simple drawdown counter — it isn't. Nothing else in this class on MQL5 comes close. Your firm's formula, not a generic one. Every prop firm calculates daily loss differently: from the initial deposit, from the balance at the start of the day, from the intraday equity high. Here the reference base and the measurement method are separate inputs, so you can reproduce your own rules exactly. The documentation includes ready-made presets for several firms. Your EA can't reopen what was just closed. The sequence is thought through: pending orders are deleted first, then the strategy chart is closed along with the EA, and only then the positions. Charts come back automatically once protection clears — after a short news window, right when it ends. No DLL — works on MQL5 VPS. DLL imports are not allowed on MQL5 VPS, so tools that kill algo trading through external libraries are useless there. This one works through the platform itself. No separate Windows VPS needed. The midnight zone. You close the day in profit, but one position is sitting in the red. At the reset your profit resets to zero and that floating loss eats straight into the new day's limit — a breach at 00:01 after a clean day. The tool closes such a position before that happens. News. The window before and after an event is configurable; I run three minutes on each side. Filters by currency, impact level and keywords. If the calendar feed is unavailable, entries are blocked rather than assumed safe. A restart won't bypass it. Triggered protection survives detaching the EA and restarting the terminal. Exactly what you want during an evaluation. Buffers instead of exact numbers. The presets trigger slightly before the published limits: by the time the terminal sees the loss and sends the close, you've added latency, spread and slippage. That buffer is the difference between "almost made it" and an account that's still alive. The documentation covers every input and the common failure cases, and the author is responsive and genuinely improves the product based on user feedback. A versatile tool for beginners and experienced traders alike — from strict prop rules to plain discipline on your own account. Set it up once and you won't want to trade without it. It's really a great tool! It helps risk management a lot. I can sleep well now and no need to worry about the drawdown.

Bober Real MT5 is a fully automatic Forex trading Expert Advisor. This robot was made in 2014 year and did a lot of profitbale trades during this period. So far over 7000% growth on my personal account. There was many updates but 2019 update is the best one. The robot can run on any instrument, but the results are better with EURGBP, GBPUSD, on the M5 timeframe. Robot doesn't show good results in tester or live account if you run incorrect sets. Haven't used DrawDown Limiter on a live account yet, but it seems to be working great! It seems reliable and trustworthy. Lio has obviously worked on it a lot and thought about all scenarios and different prop firm requirements. The EA is highly customizable to fit any needs. Yet simple to understand and intuitive. Documentation for it is great as well, complete with videos and FAQ. Like it was mentioned, I got the free Algo Trading Disabler for free right away. The communication with Lio was really good and he genuinely seems to care and take suggestions into account. All in all, you can confidently buy this EA if you're considering it.
