Most traders don't fail prop firm challenges because they can't trade. They fail on a rule: the daily loss reset an hour earlier than they thought, the drawdown was trailing, a trade went 2% red, or they held through news.
PropGuard knows your firm's rules so you don't have to. 568 presets covering 114 prop firms, including FTMO, FundedNext, The5ers, FundingPips, Atlas Funded, Alpha Capital, Lux Trading Firm, Goat Funded Trader and more.
New in v2:
- Pass Planner: runs thousands of simulations on your own closed trades and shows the risk per trade with the best odds of reaching your challenge's profit target within its loss limits.
- Payout Maximizer: shows how much more you can make today without breaking your firm's consistency rule, and how much you need on smaller days to unlock your payout.
- Preset updates: firm rules change often. Presets are re-checked and delivered as free updates through the Market.
How it works
- Attach PropGuard to any chart.
- Pick your firm and program from the dropdown.
- Trade normally, manually or with any EA. PropGuard never opens trades.
What it guards
- Daily loss limit: balance or equity basis, at the firm's real reset time
- Max drawdown: static, trailing equity, trailing balance, or trail-to-initial
- Floating-loss close rules (e.g. close all at 2% floating loss)
- Risk per trade cap, and closes trades left without a stop loss
- High-impact news windows using MT5's built-in economic calendar
- Weekend holding bans, max lot size, minimum hold warnings
- Consistency rule tracker and a live dashboard on the chart
Safety buffer: by default PropGuard acts at 85% of each limit (adjustable), so slippage doesn't push you over.
Custom mode: firm not listed? Choose "Custom rules" and enter the numbers yourself.
Important: prop firms change their rules often. Presets reflect each firm's published rules on the date checked, and presets are updated regularly. Always confirm on your firm's website. PropGuard is a risk tool and does not guarantee you will pass any challenge.
