Trend Flip Detector

Trend Flip Detector is a simple visual tool designed to help you understand when market direction is shifting - and more importantly, when not to chase price.
It does not try to predict the market. Instead, it focuses on clarity and timing - showing when trend conditions are stable, weakening, or potentially flipping.
Why this tool exists
Many traders face the same issue:
- entering too late after a strong move
- reacting to momentum without context
- confusing pullbacks with real reversals
This tool is built to reduce that confusion.
What it shows on chart
The panel summarizes key trend information in a compact way:
- Bias - current directional context (bullish / bearish)
- Strength - how stable or extended the move is
- Warning - highlights risky situations (e.g. "Do Not Chase")
- Quality - overall condition of the current setup
- Reference - EMA baseline used as trend anchor
The goal is not to generate signals, but to help you:
- avoid entering at poor timing
- recognize unstable conditions
- stay aligned with broader structure
How to use it
Typical usage:
- Use it as a confirmation layer, not a standalone decision tool
- Combine with your own entry logic or structure analysis
- Pay attention to Warning and Quality, especially during fast moves
Example:
- Strong trend + no warning → normal continuation context
- Strong move + "Do Not Chase" → likely late entry risk
- Weak quality → unstable / transition phase
Important notes
- This is a decision support indicator, not a trading system
- It does not provide entry, SL, or TP levels
- Results may vary depending on broker conditions and execution

These tools focus on execution and decision structure beyond trend reading.
Additional context
If you notice different results across accounts or brokers, this is often related to execution differences rather than settings.
