Smart Replay PRO is a bar replay tool for MetaTrader 5. It is designed for discretionary traders who want to review historical market movement and practice chart reading in a controlled replay environment.
The tool uses M1 historical bar data from MT5 and writes replay data to a separate virtual symbol, such as EURUSD_RPL or USDJPY_RPL. Instead of simply covering future candles on the original chart, Smart Replay PRO builds replay charts by adding historical bars step by step to the replay symbol. This keeps replay data separate from your broker's live symbol data.

How it works
Attach Smart Replay PRO to a dedicated chart. This chart becomes the control surface and may appear blank by design. When you press GO, the tool creates a virtual replay symbol and opens four replay charts for the selected mode. Depending on your MT5 window state, you may need to resize the control chart or use MT5's window arrangement button during the first setup.
The replay charts are not created by visually hiding future candles on the original chart. They are built by adding bars to a dedicated virtual symbol, so templates and indicators can be applied to the replay charts as the replay progresses.
Replay data is built from historical M1 bars. This is a bar replay tool, not a tick-by-tick market simulator. It does not reproduce intra-minute tick order, spreads, slippage, or execution conditions.
Supported environment
Smart Replay PRO is intended for Windows versions of MetaTrader 5.

Not supported:
- macOS
- Wine / Rosetta 2 setups
Supported symbols
The tool can be used with symbols for which MT5 can obtain usable M1 historical data. Actual availability depends on your broker, symbol, account environment, and MT5 history settings.
Cache behavior
Smart Replay PRO stores loaded M1 historical bar data in local monthly cache files. When the required data is already cached, later starts and date changes are usually faster than the first run. Actual speed depends on the amount of data, chart templates, indicators, MT5 settings, and PC or VPS performance.
Important notes
- Smart Replay PRO does not place trades.
- It is intended for education, review, and discretionary trading practice.
- It does not guarantee trading results or future performance.
- Please attach it to a dedicated control chart.
- Closing the control chart, or removing the EA from it, also closes the replay charts opened for that session.
- For first-time users, the 1-month rental option is recommended to confirm operation in your own MT5 environment, broker, symbols, and M1 history conditions.
- Check your broker's UTC offset and DST setting before serious practice.
- If M1 history is missing, download or load the required history in MT5 first.
