ApexForge Multi Chart Symbol Timeframe Changer is a MetaTrader 5 utility designed for multi-chart, multi-timeframe and multi-market workspaces.

It is more than a basic Symbol Changer.

From one control panel, you can:

⚠️ Important — Prepare Your Default Charts Before Attaching

The utility records the current Symbol and Timeframe state of the charts when it is attached.

This state becomes the original restore baseline used by:

ALL

Before attaching the utility, arrange your charts exactly as you want your default workspace to appear.

For example:

After confirming the setup, attach the utility.

You can then freely use Quick Symbol switching or C1–C8 custom workspaces.

Pressing ALL restores the original workspace recorded for the current session.

After Restarting MT5

Each time MT5 is restarted, the newly loaded chart state becomes the new default baseline.

In simple terms:

Prepare Charts → Attach Utility → Current State Becomes the ALL Baseline

After restarting MT5:

Newly Loaded Chart State → New ALL Baseline

ALL therefore restores the original workspace of the current MT5 session, rather than permanently restoring the first-ever installation state.

Switch Multiple MT5 Charts at Once

For example, your workspace may contain:

+ / - Collapsible Control Panel

The control panel supports:

+ / - Expand and Collapse

Press - when the panel is not needed to reduce the amount of chart space it occupies.

Press + whenever you need access to the full Symbol, Timeframe and workspace controls again.

This is especially useful for grid layouts, multi-chart environments and limited screen space.

User Guide

1. Prepare Your Default Workspace

Before attaching the utility, arrange all charts and set the Symbols and Timeframes you want to use as your default workspace.

This state becomes the ALL restore baseline.

2. Attach the Utility

Attach ApexForge Multi Chart Symbol Timeframe Changer to the control chart.

3. Select Broker Symbols

The utility reads Symbols available in MT5. Browse categories such as Forex, Metals and Oil.

4. Configure Quick Symbols

Assign frequently monitored markets such as GOLD, EUR, DXY and JPY.

5. Configure C1–C8

Create custom workspaces.

Each chart can independently use:

Symbol + Timeframe + MA

6. Configure Moving Averages

Set Period, Shift, Method, Applied Price, Color, Style and Width according to your own requirements.

7. Apply a Workspace

Click:

C1 / C2 / C3 … C8

to apply the selected custom configuration.

8. Use Quick Symbol Switching

Use Quick Symbol buttons when you want to switch multiple charts rapidly to another market.

9. Restore with ALL

Press:

ALL

to restore the original workspace recorded for the current MT5 session.

10. Collapse / Expand the Panel

Press:

to collapse the panel.

Press:

+

to expand the full control panel again.

System Requirements

Requires:

MetaTrader 5 (MT5)

MetaTrader 4 is not supported.

Required Symbols must be provided by the user's Broker and available in MT5.

VPS

A VPS is not required.

Users may use a VPS according to their own MT5 environment, but it is not required by the utility.

Important Notes

Prepare your default charts before attaching the utility.

The Symbol / Timeframe state recorded when the utility is attached becomes the ALL restore baseline.

Each time MT5 is restarted, the newly loaded chart state becomes the new baseline.

Broker Symbol names, prefixes and suffixes may vary. Available instruments depend on the current Broker and MT5 environment.

After modifying C1–C8, Symbol, Timeframe or MA configurations, verify that the resulting workspace matches your intended setup.
