MT5 Symbol Changer | Timeframe Changer | Multi Chart Switcher | Multi Timeframe Tool
ApexForge Multi Chart Symbol Timeframe Changer is an MT5 Symbol Changer, Timeframe Changer, Multi Chart Switcher and Workspace Manager designed for traders using multiple MetaTrader 5 charts.
Instead of changing every chart manually, control multiple charts from one panel and quickly switch:
Symbols / Timeframes / Complete Multi-Chart Configurations
Features include C1–C8 custom presets, Quick Symbol switching, ALL workspace restoration, automatic broker symbol detection, Moving Average preservation, and Incremental chart updates.
The latest Incremental architecture processes only charts that actually need to change, reducing unnecessary chart reloads and redundant operations.
Why Use an MT5 Multi Chart Changer?A typical multi-chart workflow requires you to:
Select chart → change symbol → change timeframe → select next chart → repeat.
With a six-chart workspace using:
M1 / M5 / M15 / M30 / H1 / H4
switching from XAUUSD to EURUSD normally means repeating the same operation across every chart.
ApexForge centralizes these actions into one control panel.
One selection can switch the entire multi-chart workspace.

Incremental High-Speed SwitchingFeatures of other tools vary by product. This table describes the design position of ApexForge and does not refer to any specific third-party product.
The latest version introduces an Incremental Update Engine.
Instead of blindly processing every chart during every switch, ApexForge checks the current workspace first.
Chart requires a change → update it
Chart is already correct → leave it untouched
This reduces:
- Unnecessary Chart Changes
- Repeated chart initialization
- Redundant refresh operations
- Temporary workload spikes
- Reprocessing of already-correct charts
Especially useful for six-chart, multi-timeframe and larger MT5 workspaces.
C1–C8 Multi Chart PresetsCreate up to 8 custom workspace configurations.
Each chart can have an independent:
Symbol + Timeframe
Example:
C1 — XAUUSD Multi Timeframe
XAUUSD M1
XAUUSD M5
XAUUSD M15
XAUUSD M30
XAUUSD H1
XAUUSD H4
Or build mixed-market workspaces containing:
XAUUSD / EURUSD / NASDAQ / DXY / other instruments
This makes ApexForge more than a simple Symbol Changer — it can function as an MT5 Multi Chart Workspace Switcher.
Quick Symbol SwitchingKeep the existing timeframe structure and rapidly change the symbol across the workspace.
If your charts are:
M1 / M5 / M15 / M30 / H1 / H4
select XAUUSD and the workspace becomes:
XAUUSD M1
XAUUSD M5
XAUUSD M15
XAUUSD M30
XAUUSD H1
XAUUSD H4
Select EURUSD and the same timeframe structure is preserved.
Ideal for Multi Timeframe Analysis across different markets.
ALL — Restore Your Original WorkspaceWhen the EA is attached, ApexForge records the current:
Symbol + Timeframe Workspace
After using C1–C8 or Quick Symbol, press:
ALL
to restore the recorded original workspace.
No need to manually remember every chart's previous symbol and timeframe.
Automatic Broker Symbol DetectionBroker symbol naming conventions vary.
For example:
XAUUSD
XAUUSD.a
XAUUSDm
GOLD
ApexForge can read instruments available from the connected broker instead of relying only on hard-coded symbol names.
Supported broker instruments can include:
Forex / Gold / Precious Metals / Oil & Energy / Indices / other supported markets
This makes the tool practical across different MT5 brokers and symbol suffix conventions.
Moving Average Preservation & RestorationSupported Moving Average settings can be preserved, including:
Period / Shift / MA Method / Applied Price / Color / Style / Width
A dedicated AFWS MA Renderer is used during restoration.
The Renderer uses standard MT5 iMA calculations and Indicator Buffer drawing rather than large numbers of chart objects.
This provides accurate MA values while maintaining a lightweight rendering architecture.
Event-Driven, Low-Overhead ArchitectureApexForge does not require continuous chart scanning on every market tick.
During normal idle operation:
No continuous OnTick scanning.
Switching work runs only when required through a bounded transient chart-change process.
The design principle is simple:
If a chart does not need to change, unnecessary work should not run.

Important Setup InformationPrepare your charts before attaching the EA.
ApexForge records the current chart state as the original workspace baseline.
During first attachment, or after major workspace changes, allow the EA time to record the current chart configuration before performing rapid switching.
After restarting MT5, a new baseline is established from the charts loaded in the new session.
If you want ALL to restore a specific configuration, make sure the loaded workspace represents the configuration you want to preserve.
