Trade Guardian Manager

Trade Guardian Risk Manager is a MT5 utility Expert Advisor dedicated to risk control and equity protection.

Many know how to trade. Few know when to stop.
Trade Guardian formalizes discipline and mechanically enforces your limits when emotions or over-exposure take over.

❌ No trading logic — Does NOT open trades: does not open positions, does not provide signals, contains no strategy, and does not guarantee results.

Operating principle — Equity Monitoring + rule enforcement

The EA continuously monitors account Equity and applies a rule-based enforcement mechanism:

• Auto-Close: closes open positions when a threshold is breached (manual + EAs)

• HARD BLOCK: any new position opened after a trigger is closed immediately (persistent protection)

• The block remains active until the applicable reset (daily / weekly depending on the rule)

MT5 note: Buy/Sell buttons cannot be disabled. The robust approach is automatic closing of unauthorized positions.

Protection rules

A) Drawdown & Equity Limits

• Daily Drawdown (%): maximum daily loss threshold

• Daily Drawdown (Money): optional money threshold (0 = disabled)

• Weekly Drawdown Protector: weekly limit (% + optional money)

B) Profit Protection

• Profit Lock + Giveback: locks equity after growth, then limits pullback

C) Behavioural / Discipline Controls

• Consecutive losses: block after N consecutive losses

• Max trades/day: limits the number of daily entries

• Session filter: blocks trading outside the defined time window (server time)

D) Emergency Control

• Panic Button: instant close + block (if enabled)

Presets (fast configuration)

To speed up setup, presets are included: SAFE / PROP / AGGRESSIVE / CUSTOM.

🟢 SAFE preset (default)

• Daily Drawdown: 2.0%

• Profit Lock: +1.5%

• Max Giveback: 0.7%

• Consecutive losses: 3

• Max trades/day: 10

• Session filter: 07:00–20:00 (server time)

• Weekly Drawdown: 4.0%

• Auto-Close: ON

🔵 PROP preset (stricter)

• Daily Drawdown: 1.5%

• Profit Lock: +1.0%

• Max Giveback: 0.5%

• Consecutive losses: 2

• Max trades/day: 8

• Session filter: 07:00–20:00 (server time)

• Weekly Drawdown: 3.0%

• Auto-Close: ON

🔴 AGGRESSIVE preset (more permissive)

• Daily Drawdown: 3.0%

• Profit Lock: +2.0%

• Max Giveback: 1.0%

• Consecutive losses: 4

• Max trades/day: 15

• Session filter: 06:00–22:00 (server time)

• Weekly Drawdown: 6.0%

• Auto-Close: ON

(All parameters remain adjustable via CUSTOM.)

Change preset (2 clicks)

Open EA Properties → Inputs, then:

• InpPreset : SAFE / PROP / AGGRESSIVE / CUSTOM

• InpApplyPreset : TRUE = apply preset automatically / FALSE = keep manual settings

Compatibility & recommended usage

• Compatible with manual trading and any EA (strategy-agnostic utility)

• Account-level protection (not symbol-dependent)

• Attach to one chart only (one instance is enough)

Getting started

1. Attach the EA to any chart

2. Enable Algo Trading

3. Select a preset or adjust limits

4. Keep the EA running to enforce the rules

Good to know

• A “flat curve” is normal: this EA does not trade.

• One instance is enough (one chart).

• The chart symbol does not matter (account-level protection).
